Actually, I do feel they looked like a couple. I recall all their scenes together when she would cry and he hugged her, and little things like that. I don’t care for Arshi because she is a terrible person, but I never once felt that her and Ani weren’t a real thing. He used to love her fr a lot.

I liked this episode.. He stopped bank employee from taking her photo.. he took them instead.. the way he was disinterested when bank manager talked about Ani - Arshi’s impending wedding… He doesn’t want her to wear those hideous old clothes🤩

I tuned out their rest of the convo Miya - Biwi don’t have any other work but to bicker.

Choton is Thammi and Dadubhai's youngest son, so he is Ani's chacha/uncle/kaka.

In Bangla, we call our youngest uncle 'Chotka' (abbreviation for choto kaka/chote chacha). Maybe Ani has always heard everyone around him call Choton as such as an endearment because he is 'choto' in the house (meaning youngest), so he has picked up that habit just like all the other kids in the house.

Kids usually learn what they hear their parents speak. Tanuja and Shubh or the grandparents must have always called Choton like that and never tried to correct Ani, Lal, Appu di or the twins to use the correct terminology while growing up and now they're probably accustomed to calling him Choton as well, just like the adults of the house
