Sandeep Kumaar has returned to TV after two years. He spoke to Etimes about returning to TV with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He said that he is excited to be back on TV. He said he could not say no when he was offered Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as his family also admires the show and the show is quite popular.

He further spoke about his character Manav in the show. He said that Manav is very charming and positive personality and always has a smile on his face. He shared that Manav is a doctor and does not want to get married but Manish and Vikas have influenced him to think of Ruhi.

He added that the story will have many twists and turns in the show. It will be interesting to see if Manav will get married to Ruhi or will Rohit return.

Can somebody please enlighten me if the ph has any issues with sam...they don't promote her, neither her pair ,nor any special appreciation, her ivs are also limited and rare while sheh and prat look like leads , sitting together like glues, have I'vs almost daily....somethings def cooking behind the scenes...and someone specially being promoted so royally...and someone being ignored so royally

This is what they wanted to show but the execution failed- this scene needed not to be rushed to convince audience of this exact impact.

Imagine watching it On TV - before one think or understand-it is done. TV audience is not going to rewind n rethink.

May be they know what turn the story will take and doesn’t want the lead pair to be too popular like gen3 and the OG show. So people can easily accept both Armaan and Abhira with other partners if and when the plot has to do that.
