Why was he trying to see a tattoo or whatever though?

Anyway, wish me luck, I'm taking a plunge and watching the show as from this Monday till now. I might end up hating Adnan after this. Anyway, according to IG, it marks 10yrs he's in the acting industry or ITV.

There is an inscription in Vidisha where it's written he lived with his UNWEDDED consort there blissfully and reminiscent that moment when he revisited Vidisha. It's controversial as some speculate it's Ashok. 🙄😮 So Devshok marriage wasn't legally recognised and maybe that's why Mahendra wasn't Crown Prince. Well it's an assumption by some historians. 🙄 But Pali traditions call Vedisha Mahadevi as first and legal wife. So obviously there are conflicting opinions. It's highly unlikely Ashok would call mother of Mahendra and Sanghamitra as his UNWEDDED consort or he married her after living with her. 😮 It will be really bold of Ekta if she does show Devshok as live in couple and then marrying each other. 🙄 Ekta don't have guts though. Because tv serial Historians would attack her without even fact checking where she is showing this just like how they targeted her for showing Nandini and Durdhara as different ladies because one hit show showed Durdhara as Nanda's daughter and many dumbos accepted it as a fact without even reading history 🤣🤣

They weren't unwed, they could have had the Gandharv vivah! Some conservative people don't view it as being the right way to get married though and would prefer the 7 phere one.

Seems very poetic and it's love right there. He clearly loved Devi as 8yrs are a long time to wait before taking another bride, according to me. Just coz it's polygamy doesn't mean it was any less. And as someone who fell for several guys over years, whenever I look back, there is still this lingering feeling which remained. For some it may have been more a feeling of care than of love, but for others it's more love than anything. Some people weren't meant to be monogamous, but here we are, in the society where polygamy is most of the time illegal.

Possible, but Pali traditions calls her properly wedded wife 🙄 well we obviously won't know the truth but archeological sources are considered more legit than Literary. That's Why Karuwaki being his wife is absolutely certain because it's written in his inscription. Well who was his UNWEDDED consort? 🙄🤔 We may never know

Well in Ashok's time polygamy wasn't illegal, specially for Kings or royalty. Ashok reminiscing about Devi and time spent with her is so cute meanwhile in Queen's edict he does not bother to do any love declaration and blatantly calls Karuwaki as his second wife. His Agramahishi was Asandhimitra whom he would have made inscriptions for which sadly got destroyed by time

I sincerely wish there was a time travel machine just laying somewhere to go back to that time and explore Ancient Egypt, India, Mésopotamie, etc... Instead of just making assumptions or debating. smiley24 Oh well, we'll never know.

It seems adventurous but it would be a hell for revisit ancient world, life was very tough, technology wasn't there, internet wasn't there, wars and diseases were frequent, no proper medicines, we won't survive one day in ancient world.
