Here’s to another favourite of mine. The angst they served in this scene was something else! With the buildup from their BGM plus Sai-Adrija’s voice modulation and dialogue delivery, everything was so perfectly executed.

You can see Agastya’s resolve break in his eyes the moment she says that it’s his choice for Bulbul not to come but that she also won’t stay here.

He tried to convince himself that this is all a drama, that Imlie won’t actually leave. His last attempt is him almost pleading her to prove him right. Because he doesn't want her to go, he knows it’s not safe out there. He wants her to stay with him, so he can make sure he can protect her. But she reminds him that he’s already built distance between them, she’s already gone far away from him.

They had a complex consuming relationship but the fire had lit itself from both side. 🤌🏼🔥

I absolutely loved these 2 scenes. When Imlie gets attacked during her village trip all she calls out for is her Babu and it was so bad seeing her running away from those goons. And in the end Agastya comes in and rescues her. The whole sequence was superbly done and the way Imlie becomes numb after the attack and Agastya goes crazy trying to make sure Imlie is safe - Damn it was heartbreaking.

And the end of contract era was really something else as Imlie was already under the blackmail of Vishwa and Agastya here was thinking of making the marriage permanent.

I feel so cheated out by this twist of Agastya dying - It's like they have set the love story really good but right at the climax they bumped off the ML and we are supposed to move on with the new twist they are throwing at us. Kuch bhi karo - I want Agastya to be back as he did promise the world to Imlie and he better deliver it to her.

The scene after this when the stalker attacks Bulbul and Imlie and Agastya runs in to save her and the whole sequence is one of the best I have ever seen on ITV. And then Bulbul suffering the miscarriage and the guilt Agastya carries in his heart for this. The whole Pyaar yeh jaane kaisa hain - it was mind blowing. If I ever felt like I was sitting at the edge of my seat during Imlie then it was during this sequence.

I love Imlie - Agastya's Akad Izzazat nahin deti phase. When they both want each other for comfort or for their own reasons(be it of wanting solace or be it of feeling protected during the stalker track) I loved the way both taunted each other with this phrase. It was really budding innocent love which they both were feeling but were unable to name it.
