Megha, I could not find the episode which shows height difference between Ruhi and Abhira but if you watch the latest bts where Ruhi is dancing in the party, you will hve an inderstanding that she is not that tall. I suppose she does not have heels as she has to dance fast.

If Armaan finally realizes that Abhira is in trouble and stops running behind his bff it'll be good. But i am tired of his zimmedari and guilt jaap everytime. And if not, he should stop pretending in such a way that Abhira feels bad for doubting him and increases her dependence on him because she will be super heartbroken in the end. She should fight her battles alone and straight up tell him she doesn't like to be made to feel like a bojh or zabardasti zimmedari. Armaan has a mahaan complex. When he's with Ruhi suddenly he'll remember Abhira and then vice versa. But iss ke beech mein he will dance with both women, tie ones hair and promise the other he will be there for her, hug both of them taaki his mahaan image continues. No concept of boundaries. But he's lying when he says he's over Ruhi because if he really was, he'd maintain distance and not be seeking out ways of being around her. He's in this endless loop of saying one thing and doing the opposite.
