Unfortunately yeah. They should take examples of Thakur Digvijay from Bairi Piya but somehow in the 2nd episode, I still find the shadow of Viaan the Shaayar in him, when he says expressions or makes comparisons.

After watching few episodes of Ashok...felt like Adnan should have waited for some good project instead of jumping into Ekta's stable so quickly.Watched a clip of y'days episode and felt like his dialogue delivery in that clip is stuck to Viaan Raghuvanshi. Clothes might not be up to the mark but a basic aura of king is totally missing. It looks like a modern era character has been made to wear periodic era costumes .I really don't find any traits of cruelty or devastating attitude in Ashoka's body language and his activities.

Anu Soru's first venture as costume designer...so could now understand about the dissapointment in costumes. Muzammil is the director of the show....heard he is good in his job but why such failure ?? Wish he could have directed and guided Adnan well.It's not that I'm impressed with Mallika much.

Totally Agree.

She should have asked Shaheer to play Ashok since he has done such roles and he does have the aura of a King or Mata selected Adnan bcos history says Ashok wasn't good looking looking.
