Ameesha Patel has stated she's been in talks to return for Humraaz 2 but nothing is confirmed yet.

“It was quite a surprise seeing the news all over a few days back. I was surely aware that the producers and the directors have been working on some script for Humraaz 2 but whether it’s locked or not, I’ve no idea. In fact, I came to know more about it when it came out in the media recently where a report said that the directors have cracked some concept. I guess it’s best to leave it to the producer, Mr Ratan Jain, who will speak about it whenever he feels that it’s the correct time and the makers feel that they are ready."

The original film was a hit in a year where just about every film flopped and had the best-selling soundtrack of 2002, but I didn't realize it had developed an even bigger following from airing on TV so often. It's one of my go-to films on a rainy day.

I'm not surprised that between audience love for the original and Bobby Deol and Ameesha Patel's 2023 comebacks, that they are working on this film.

I don't know how they will bring back Akshaye Khanna from the dead but keep in mind that even his death was unrealistic. Shot in the head but still able to turn around and react before dropping dead and even then he's ready to shoot Ameesha again. So it wouldn't be hard to bring him back by saying he was never really dead.

Aishwarya Rai can’t do a movie like this.
Amisha is better looking and a classic actress.
