As a foreigner (from Mauritius🇲🇺, and yes I'll remind you every once in a while), I'd really like to watch a historically accurate show of Ashoka, Chanakya, etc... Sorry to say folks but, if Ekta isn't stopped other people from foreign countries who watch and don't know the real history will think what's shown in the show is the real deal and also India's future generations too. Where are your Senas when they should infact be protesting??

If you want accurate show of Ashok then Ekta's Ashoka is not the right choice for you. She never followed history in ja. Yes there were some major incidents but to spice up the story Ekta will focus on kitchen politics than Ashoka's political aspects or wars.

There is no historical show on Ashok which is historically accurate, you will have to read Mahavansh, Ashokavadana , Divyavadana etc. to know real history 😢

I think in TV industry it's only Siddharth Tiwari who makes mythological and historical shows containing 80% of the historical material mention history.
