Burns Road episode 1 was nice but I just cant take Hamza seriously..he is still very kacchaa in terms of expressions..but hey ill watch it..good PH values Iqra is cute in it..and she is daughter of a Gujarati jeweller family..something Motiwala?? like is this the first time I see Gujarati representation in Pak show??? the dad legit sounded Parsi to me with that Gujarati accent though

I think pak dramas are including hindu cultures only to resonate with the Indian audiences watching their show...even in fairytale they made a roast on Indian soaps with all the traditional Indian outfits, names and sindoor and everything..

Karachi has lot of Gujarati Hindus, Gujarati Parsis, Gujarati Muslims , Tamilians.

Since before 1947, people used to travel to & from Bombay so that's y karachi had lot of settlements back then..even today lot of people still stay.

Ok so perhaps from that angle..the Romeo Julliet romance makes a lot of sense..it will be like forbidden love from every angle.
