Hahaha... Who says he is a famous / successful lawyer where he can't find out an intentions of Ruhi. As a lawyer, sorry successful and honest lawyer, he was failed to find out her intensions.

Even Akshara helped him to realize on Yuvraj case. He cannot think out of the box.

You know ruhi spoiling the dish with mirchi powder actually shows that she doesn't care about anyone. It's not her responsibility that dadisa head didn't bow down in shame. She didn't care that maybe because of that Abhira law study can be spoiled but she just care that armaan didn't get scolded. Her main focus is armaan rest of the family jaaye bhaad main.

I don't know whether her intension is going to reveal or not but now tho i seriously want abhira to get shot or injured or something so that Armaan can finally fully consentrate on Abhira rather than distracted with ruhi.
