Zaid's mein seems to be his adamance that he should not be fooled.

Prior to marriage he didn't realise he was being taken for a ride. Once that was disclosed, his mein surfaced. Till then it was self respect - I can do this much for Mubashira, but I won't go beyond that.

Before marrying Ayra - his Zidd became his mein. He was upset he was fooled, so he became adamant and unreasonable.

After marrying Ayra, his mein did not surface again because Mubashira took great care not to irritate him and even tried to stop Asif from insulting him...with Ayra's behaviour there was no scope for his mein, since she made him indebted to his dad for putting up with her demands.

Now the mein has resurfaced - he is agitated that he has been fooled and refuses to trust anyone but Ayra. His mein was never as strong as MJ's or Ayra's, I feel.

Why he refuses to accept MJ- right now too many things stacked against her and he sees her as part of his dad's plan.

Now they are at a point where there is not even Kash to think about if he wants to divorce MJ. It is just that he doesn't have that fear of losing her since she has been with him throughout. Once that comes, and there's no pressure from his family, may be he will process what she means to him.

Even the first time he threatened to divorce her, he was feeling bad about doing this since he knew it'd hurt her, but he had to do what was right because his dad was a reason Ayra's brother died.

But up till now Ayra hasn’t spoken about separation or divorce. Anything can happen in the last episode but up till now Ayra is still saying she loves him but is hurt. The only thing she has said is that she doesn’t want to go back to Asif’s house which is understandable. If Asif needs to pay for his crimes then even Zaid won’t want to stay in that house. So that can’t be the reason for divorce? Zaid was mean to MJ yes but it’s nothing in comparison to what MJ has done. Zaid has been mean but honest to MJ that he doesn’t love her despite that if MJ chooses to remain married to him how is that more of Zaid’s fault than MJ. Even in the last Turkey episode Zaid told her he won’t be able to love her. Zaid’s honesty that he doesn’t love MJ and him being mean to her initially is not a greater mistake than MJ pretending, lying to Zaid, being dishonest in a relationship, blackmailing to get a project, getting an innocent person fired, supporting a harraser etc. In between all 3 of them i.e Zaid, MJ and Ayra as human being Zaid is better than both. Yes he is weak and may be not strong enough to fight his father but he has been honest with both the women in his life and has never lied to them or schemed against them. Next is Ayra who’s only stupid mistake is the fake wife drama and then MJ who has done many horrible things. So out of all 3 of them MJ gets what she wants in the end i.e both Zaid and Ayra and Zaid don’t get what they have been fighting for doesn’t make sense.

Whatever I've written that is mostly summarization only...its a 1 hr video but I ffed and watched only parts where she is talking about mein.

Seriously yaar sab ulta hi ho gaya hai show mein, we discussed so much and that has no relevance only in the actual story

I always thought that the OST meant only for Zaid and his failed romance with Ayra. The writer kind of confirmed it.

She said jo log apni MEIN mein hote hai woh last mein akele hi rehte hai and pointed out at mj and asifs mein..

She also hinted that zaid wont be living with his dad anymore..Baaki idt she revealed anything more than this.
