I was also thinking the Swayamwar costumes for Sita and her sisters seem very Rajasthani inspired smiley36.....finally confirm ho gaya that is what the costume designer was going for.

I do find this costume designer very interesting for Swastik shows ever since I started noticing the costumes in RK.....lol uske baad Shiv Shakti mein bhi kaafi experiment kiya hai inhone....and I guess this time they wanted to give Sita a different look from the previous Sitas we've seen on TV....I did like her Swayamwar costumes better than the initial sort of dull looking peach one that she was wearing. The yellow one she wore after the Swamayamwar was a nice one too.

Swastik has changed the approach for the materials they are using for the costumes too....I noticed it with the way they did Parvati ka look which was much lighter than Sati ka look

Watched Sam bahadur and I have such mixed feelings about it..Vicky was ofcourse fantastic the way he jas totally became Sam but other than that it works in parts forst of all such terrible casting for other major ch2aracters.. poor Sanya has literally nothing to do other than look old in few scenes.. Fatima is like such a bad casting and acting..the problem is have had is the break neck speed of covering events which are not even cohesive one after other after other hardly any time to notice the impact or the greatness of Sam.. esp if you don't know about some of these events..the last half an hour was good but that os Caz that was 71 and that too I wouldn't give them the credit I saw woh Isha wala pippa on same subject last week which is a far better film so it felt literally identical scenes but yeah that film gave more context than this..also his flamboyance and personality was just not covered that well and esp the family side like what was the need ghussate hi kahi when it made no difference to overall story

I would give it a 2.5/5 but that is just me I expected better tbh

Have mixed feelings about this even if I am excited for sonakshi in a different kind of role..has a strong gangu hangover in the character glimpse of richa though she seems to be the most sassy one and baaki rest toh usual bhansali ka wohi copy paste Background and color geading hai as if his bulk main order kiye backgrounds cgi's clips are just not getting over I wish he would atleast try to color grade hi differently to make them look separate things they to bring more color vivaciousness rather than wohi black and yellow pallette he has been using since 10 years now since bM.. anyway yeah sonakshi and richa looked intresting I might be blind but mere ko Manisha isme nahi dikho though I would be totally intrested in knowing about her caz such a fan if any 90's girl haha

Manisha was right in the beginning of the trailer apni mehendi ko phoonk maarti huismiley36

Yeh lo, posting the YT link here as well

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0O0tRT3iwQo

Yes, overall it has a lot of copy/paste of usual Bhansali tropes vis a vis the sets, costumes and dances.....Gangu hangover bhi lagega hi cuz story is again based in the world of courtesans. Baaki looks like they've tried to mix in kaafi kuch vis a vis power clashes, diamond trade and independence struggle ka kuch angle as well...lol remains to be seen if story has the meat to pull it off. Baaki cast toh theek hi lagti hai.

LOL@ your frustration with them not even trying to variate in the color grade....guess they think jo ek movie mein chal gaya, use baar baar try kar lo.....lol

Yeah yaar frustration tohnhona hi hai na this has all the potential for all the vibrancy and color and experimentation but nah they just add that yellow on everything.. I mean how can this be the same slb who once made devdas and HDDCS. All the beautiful coloring but nah ab sab cheap yellow dalna hai and raat bhi sahi se kaali nahi itni cGi'ed unreal kaala

I finally watched Animalsmiley36

Oh man, what a deeply unserious filmsmiley36.....like there is literally no depth to anything....Ranbir is such a sociopath with his deadpan threats and long-winded explanations for his POV that I was mostly laughing even in scenes which I guess weren't intended to be funnysmiley36

Like I don't even know if there is anything to outrage about this film cuz it's mainly such a SHALLOW scriptsmiley36.....all the attempts to be puffed about masculinity and aggression were only making me laughsmiley36.....everything from his long winded vendetta to find threats to his father and the random toy machine guns he kept getting designed smiley36......like KYA tha yehsmiley36

Ranbir acted quite well no doubt....but I just couldn't take anything in the script seriously....lol all the relationships felt pretty surface level and only the actors were adding some weight to the material here or there.

I can't believe this is such a hit filmsmiley36.....like I will give it to them that the film is fast paced for the most part but I don't see any repeat value in this.....and end mein just trying to drag on the father-son angle for a sequel with everyone just spawning multiple kids from multiple women here or there.....lol it seriously felt cartoonish.

The women were totally pointless in this filmsmiley36.....just props to react to the actions of the men or bear their kidssmiley36

Isse zyada scope toh woh Kabir Singh waali Preeti ko mil gaya thasmiley36

I just have to laugh that men consider THIS film as something speaking to their deep seated masculine issuessmiley36

yeah see smiley36 matlab itne essays on the problems of it which there are no doubt but one doesn't feel any connect to the bonds like what is there in that so called father son relationship to actually hold all that resentment valid.. he was busy ok but he never was onto the abandonment zone or undermined you for invalid reasons matlab the only thing they tell us is he said no to MJ concert and other than that he called him psycho when he did somethign psycho with the whoel college episode... smiley36 and on top of that that mother OMG what was the point of havign a mother or sisters fr.. matlab even the Tiger chaddi has more role in this.. repeat value toh nahi hai bhai ek dafah hi itni random COnversations about absolute random shit Has been enough smiley36 what they played with was that shock value by adding lame dialogues and situations and just making it awkward and then baaki left to your interpretation as i said earlier that how you want to see it and take the narrative..so all of a sudden again it getting the spotlight feels funny.. the action sequences are well done but seriously why should i even feel thrreatned by bobby? who comes as a cameo liek bruh even with all the tries of making him intimidating he didn't felt like one..

agreed at bold and imagien uspe itna logon ko itna Ghussa aa gaya and itna offense le lia while pointing out that Vanga took ofense to their reviews and all so made it to offen them bhai again not justifying it ut we have heard about the same level of WTF reasonings and random dialogues with all the toxicity in 90's too..so?? like ok not maybe the first time but later while iw as reading th ememes i actually couldn't hold my laughter at the interval sequence .. in the sense that FR in between all that khoon kahraba the cousins decided to become a dhol partysmiley36smiley37 and on top of that that end wala fight ek deaf ek mute smiley37 so yeah Rk played it well he tried his best but then there really isn't much to do even for someone liek anil .. wth is he doing in the film except blank stares most of the time.. and abotu he didn';t suffer well; that is aid first in my understanding he did and that's about it ab maara nahi toh logon ko punish enough nahi laga .

arre father son toh kahatam ho gaya na ab daddy jo amrr gaye .. lmao
