Honestly, this film is lucky that the shallow script got covered up by the outrage machine.....many people must not have even watched it presuming its uncomfortably misogynistic and violent but actually dekhoge toh HASSI aayegi that they couldn't even execute misogyny dhang se.....the whole film actually has a PARODY vibe.....like they are just parodying all these controversial things like sociopathy, narcissism, misogyny, violence.....if it was actually shown properly, the audience would feel unnerved....but I was literally laughing

Ranbir's character is supposed to be this hyper intelligent narcissist sociopath types with daddy issues but the way he conveys his POV to justify himself in various situations was making me laugh more than sympathize with him.....

And I repeat, the women are just so DUMB in this movie....Rashmika ke reactions in the scene when he's giving her the long winded explanation of why women choose alpha men as their mates....and then later they just have sex in a plan and get married....lol that is literally the gist of their relationship ....parody hi feel hoga na phir.....and sometime later he's sunaaoing her the audio of their plane sex and she's smiling over it? lol woh bhi in the middle of the phase when he's gotten some kind of beer belly cuz of his injuries and is looking like a frustrated middle aged man......the fact that they are randomly mentioning their sex life in a public setting here or there was supposed to be outrageous I guess but it was giving me very parody vibes with the way it was executed....lol then Tripti - man what a DOWNGRADE from the the Bulbul who was hunting sexual predators to being a side piece in a film like this. So much halla over a shoe licking scene that didn't even happen.....him just mentioning it was enough to outrage over so much rather than pointing out the joke of a script this was. Tripti literally showed up to be displayed as a sex prop so that she is shown impregnated to move the sequel forward?

Honestly the movie in many ways shows men as buffoons....that whole angle of him bringing his pind ke cousins to form some kind of gang in the city was just so random....lol and were the fight songs supposed to feel inspiring? Cuz mujhe hassi aa rahi thi watching them do Arjun Vailly in the middle of fight sequence with random masked guys.....and then woh last ka fight scene with Bobby....LMAO man it was dragging on sooooo long and I was wondering how people had patience for this in the theater.....like were we supposed to feel he is taking some great revenge as a son there? lol cuz woh feel toh nahin aaya.....and woh Abrar ke cousin ke reactions on the side were also looking very funny in that scene. Even Bobby ka character which they were trying to show as some kind of evil depraved guy was looking weirdly comical.....like people should be feeling disturbed that he just fell on his new bride two minutes after getting news of his brother's death but it was shown again in this weirdly parody like way.....lol honestly if this movie was trying to make a statement on ANYTHING, it really didn't come through....sab parody feel tha

It’s been a long time since I watched Kabir Singh but I feel wahaan they managed to make Kabir ka character actually feel menacing in some bits with how he mindless he had become. Lol yahaan toh aisa ek bhi moment nahin aaya with Ranbir.

And people say this is a better movie than Kabir Singh

I would say a big part is played by sonu Nigam with papa meri jaan ka different tunes giving it some depth and haunting feel but then infelt that song ain't getting its due fully when it is the base of a film yoh literally set it up that much of a paper thin plot. Lmao I saw that scene finally now and I was like huh again isoe itna outrage when in actual scene it didn't even feel like haunting or disturbing for that new wife when he jumps on her aise she seemed tk be pretty chill about it after jab dusri wives ki baari aayi like rape ko bhi mazaak ki Tarah dikhaya. With the other 2 chatting about getting a break like was that supposed to be funny mere ko toh nahi laga and yes the cousins were hilarious too apni families and sab chodh ke randomly estranged cousin ke loye gang banane aa gaye like kahan se even remotely practical ya realistic yaneven fictional liberty bhi lagta hai..army chahiye toh hire kar leta all these pepper that emotional angle of cousins fighting cousins was so random and lulzy..

LOL so her character spends most of the movie just giving confused looks about whatever bhashans Ranbir is giving her to justify why they should be together.....they never really explain what she is in love with.....from the get go they make it seem like it's raw lust between them that she gives in to cuz she's awed by him.

When they return to Delhi after having two kids, by then she is shown more in mom mode....and I can't recall but didn't they say something about her career vaguely in the beginning when Ranbir is trying to break her engagement? lol anyways whole movie she is just bhabhi and homemaker.....she is stuck at home raising the kids while Ranbir is off roaming around with his tuccha gang and designing guns

Then after he gets seriously injured and has all those heart, kidney failure ailments etc. she's basically his nanny/caretaker.....only time they give insight into why she still stays with him is when she tells her parents that she had problems while delivering her kids and Ranbir was the only one who was by her side through it all even when it was really difficult with bleeding etc. They made it seem like she felt obliged to be with him cuz he was with her during a very difficult period.....for most of the story she just seemed to be frustrated with him though....lol and only really drew a line when she learnt that he slept with someone else and that she deemed unforgivable....but baaki time even though she nagged him or made faces at him, she stuck by him otherwise.

All the nice songs in the film are totally wasted cuz they feel like they come and go out of nowhere....lol like Satranga literally being played for when he told her he slept with Tripti? .....and Hua main ka bhi kuch impact nahin hua for me.

Papa meri jaan was totally wasted and never shown coherently....bas background score banaake rakh diya uska.....Kashmir also just came randomly for a bit during Ranbir ka frustrated uncle wala phase I guess....lol

I know u rejected this film the other day But thenni actually saw this and ended up watching thenither trailer too and actually quite enjoyed it🫣 matlab itna rare ho gaua hai sweet simple sa light family drama romance comedy genre..and I like this song . I think I will check it out now haha

Edit : few hours later ..yeah I think I am slightly too much into the songs and the videos are all fun I think this film has all my attention now.. also amused at how tall kriti I and how in all songs itnis so noticeable poor girl in flats and barefoot whole Shahid is wearing platforms and Govinda special heels hahah but honestly had fun watching all videos felt like the usual happy go lucky bollywood vibe.

Another observation is how much they ate trying to give for badtameez dil vibe in this with the looks hahaahh that is the Impact of that song and film iconic for a reason from thumbnail to kriti basically doing a major recreation of sorts..except she just doesn't have it in her thT heroine quality lol..yeh bas robot wale role ke liye hi theek hai.. even Shahid in his black suit is very rk inspired..the color pallette is almost the same
