yeah see
matlab itne essays on the problems of it which there are no doubt but one doesn't feel any connect to the bonds like what is there in that so called father son relationship to actually hold all that resentment valid.. he was busy ok but he never was onto the abandonment zone or undermined you for invalid reasons matlab the only thing they tell us is he said no to MJ concert and other than that he called him psycho when he did somethign psycho with the whoel college episode...
and on top of that that mother OMG what was the point of havign a mother or sisters fr.. matlab even the Tiger chaddi has more role in this.. repeat value toh nahi hai bhai ek dafah hi itni random COnversations about absolute random shit Has been enough
what they played with was that shock value by adding lame dialogues and situations and just making it awkward and then baaki left to your interpretation as i said earlier that how you want to see it and take the narrative..so all of a sudden again it getting the spotlight feels funny.. the action sequences are well done but seriously why should i even feel thrreatned by bobby? who comes as a cameo liek bruh even with all the tries of making him intimidating he didn't felt like one..
agreed at bold and imagien uspe itna logon ko itna Ghussa aa gaya and itna offense le lia while pointing out that Vanga took ofense to their reviews and all so made it to offen them bhai again not justifying it ut we have heard about the same level of WTF reasonings and random dialogues with all the toxicity in 90's too..so?? like ok not maybe the first time but later while iw as reading th ememes i actually couldn't hold my laughter at the interval sequence .. in the sense that FR in between all that khoon kahraba the cousins decided to become a dhol party
and on top of that that end wala fight ek deaf ek mute
so yeah Rk played it well he tried his best but then there really isn't much to do even for someone liek anil .. wth is he doing in the film except blank stares most of the time.. and abotu he didn';t suffer well; that is aid first in my understanding he did and that's about it ab maara nahi toh logon ko punish enough nahi laga .
arre father son toh kahatam ho gaya na ab daddy jo amrr gaye .. lmao
Arey kahaan? Isn't Ranbir's son still alive? And aage woh Bobby ke bhi do twins hote dikhaa diye from third wife....and then woh duplicate psycho Ranbir ka angle bhi chala lenge
......father-son ka theme wasn't restricted to Ranbir-Anil....it was a cycle given how much they referenced it
Honestly, this film is lucky that the shallow script got covered up by the outrage machine.....many people must not have even watched it presuming its uncomfortably misogynistic and violent but actually dekhoge toh HASSI aayegi that they couldn't even execute misogyny dhang se
.....the whole film actually has a PARODY vibe
.....like they are just parodying all these controversial things like sociopathy, narcissism, misogyny, violence.....if it was actually shown properly, the audience would feel unnerved....but I was literally laughing
Ranbir's character is supposed to be this hyper intelligent narcissist sociopath types with daddy issues but the way he conveys his POV to justify himself in various situations was making me laugh more than sympathize with him
.....
And I repeat, the women are just so DUMB in this movie....Rashmika ke reactions in the scene when he's giving her the long winded explanation of why women choose alpha men as their mates
....and then later they just have sex in a plan and get married....lol that is literally the gist of their relationship
....parody hi feel hoga na phir
.....and sometime later he's sunaaoing her the audio of their plane sex and she's smiling over it? lol woh bhi in the middle of the phase when he's gotten some kind of beer belly cuz of his injuries and is looking like a frustrated middle aged man
......the fact that they are randomly mentioning their sex life in a public setting here or there was supposed to be outrageous I guess but it was giving me very parody vibes with the way it was executed....lol then Tripti - man what a DOWNGRADE from the the Bulbul who was hunting sexual predators to being a side piece in a film like this
. So much halla over a shoe licking scene that didn't even happen
.....him just mentioning it was enough to outrage over so much rather than pointing out the joke of a script this was
. Tripti literally showed up to be displayed as a sex prop so that she is shown impregnated to move the sequel forward?
Honestly the movie in many ways shows men as buffoons
....that whole angle of him bringing his pind ke cousins to form some kind of gang in the city was just so random....lol and were the fight songs supposed to feel inspiring? Cuz mujhe hassi aa rahi thi watching them do Arjun Vailly in the middle of fight sequence with random masked guys
.....and then woh last ka fight scene with Bobby....LMAO man it was dragging on sooooo long and I was wondering how people had patience for this in the theater.....like were we supposed to feel he is taking some great revenge as a son there? lol cuz woh feel toh nahin aaya
.....and woh Abrar ke cousin ke reactions on the side were also looking very funny in that scene. Even Bobby ka character which they were trying to show as some kind of evil depraved guy was looking weirdly comical.....like people should be feeling disturbed that he just fell on his new bride two minutes after getting news of his brother's death but it was shown again in this weirdly parody like way.....lol honestly if this movie was trying to make a statement on ANYTHING, it really didn't come through....sab parody feel tha
and on top of that that end wala fight ek deaf ek mute
