I don’t think Ayra lost everything. She gets to keep her self-respect and can chase her own ambitions without any baggage anymore while the Asif and Jaffar families have been destroyed. Asif’s children will hate him forever while Jaffar’s son is in jail and daughter getting another divorce.

They have mentioned that she can't get a job because of the scandal created by MJ in her name, her career is over, her brother is dead, the man she loved cheated on her, that relationship is over too

Asif got what he wanted, he wanted Zaid to be with MJ and Ayra out of his life, everything he did was for this, Ayra's brother died for because of MJ and Asif's quest to throw Ayra out of Zaid's life.

His kids not talking to him is his punishment for what he did to them, but what about crimes he has committed?

Kidnapping, assault, domestic violence, abetting a rape attempt and much more, these are heinous crimes with punishment attached to them.

Jaffar's son is in jail but he never cared about him, he always did everything for his daughter and all that he did will fructify because his daughter will have a happy life with Zaid

Zaid's love for her is actually a reward for all her crimes and wrongdoings, including Asif and Jaffar's crimes.

DNUTN is a tough watch. It touches on a lot of social issues like prostitution and child slavery so of course the romance takes a backseat. But DNUTN WAS big deal. Both critically acclaimed and got both wahaj and yumna awards and their first Diva shoot was thanks to that show. Watch any scene of them from that show and the spark can be felt.

its just not as popular because of the subject and theme of the drama. Not everyone’s cup of tea

I am sure her name would be cleared although not likely to be shown in the show . Zaid is no prize and she deserves better. They were never compatible anyway. Asif got what he wanted but will lose his son in return. We have to wait till next week to see what happens to MJ and Zaid.

Exactly! He looked tired in few episodes of Mein and his styling could have been better if not sharp as MK or Asif but Zaid hardly looked rich kid. I felt Wahaj snoozed thru this show, when same Wahaj looked so good as saad who was middle class and as murtu even in his Devdas era he looked yummy .

also Nameer mentioned in the recent BTS that even as a newbie, Badar was open to feedback and character sketches and the actors pov on things. So guessing how close Badar and wahaj are why couldn’t he tweak his character moments more? Why couldn’t he make them more impactful? Why not demand more scenes ? He is clearly wasted in this drama. Like… clearlyyyy. So why couldn’t this have been salvaged 🤦🏻‍♀️

MJ has got a lot of fluke from the audience as well.Zaid was mean to MJ throughout even in situations where she wasn't at fault.So why shouldn't be be criticized?Yes,I agree that her misdeeds were brushed under the rug and I am disappointed with it too.There has not been any change in her character even in the 2nd last episode and in the last episode she is suddenly asking for divorce.Also another thing is that Asif and MJ have been shown to not act holier than thou.Whereas Zaid and Ayra have done that.Every character is flawed here.The factor that makes MJ and Asif really bad is doing questionable things which are crimes in the eyes of law.Zaid and Ayra with their flaws haven't harmed anyone or committed any crime.

Criticism for not trusting her when you see that she is actually lying to him, why criticism here?

Expect Zaid to be nice to her but same people don't expect her to tell him the truth, Zaid being mean to her is bigger crime than her abetting and supporting attempt to rape?

The point is that a love story or romantic drama will always showcase a couple’s chemistry better than them working in any other genre.
