unless if makers just wanna switch up the story some things just don't make sense.

1. Toshu knew that Anuj was in the USA - how?? He's "cut off" all relations and he talked to Vanraj after so long during that phone call. There's no reason for him to be in touch with the Kapadias. Pakhi's the only person who could've told him if they were in contact.

2. Anuj keeps on saying he was looking for Anupama. Where though?? Devika got a call after so long and the Shahs have no contact with them? Where did he look? Also considering how famous "the" Anuj Kapadia is, there are probably pics of him and Anupama around the internet. Nobody saw Anupama anywhere and didn't think to reach out to Anuj? Understandable that Anupama locked herself in a house for 5 years but also I feel like Anuj has enough power to actually find her if he really wanted to. Also if Devika could find Anupama, Anuj DEFINITELY could have.

3. The Shahs know through Pakhi that Anuj and crew is in the United States. Apparently Devika also knows and she even knows that Anuj is engaged to someone. Does Bapuji know about Anuj's engagement? Nobody thought to prepare Anupama before she goes?

4. If Anupama was continuously looking for Anuj and CA, then Devika could've helped her? But wait she didn't even contact Devika until the day she showed up at her house. Did Anupama really not step a foot outside that house for 5 years?

5. That day, Anuj literally didn't even want to hear Anupama out. He heard CA's side of things that Anupama saved her last and that she doesn't love her, etc, etc. He didn't hear Anupama out and readily let her go. It's not like he was begging her to stay and she left. Why the change of emotions now?? Somewhere in his heart he did believe that Anupama was to be blamed or else it's not like Anuj to not get down to the truth.

6. Did Anuj not believe Anupama that much/think that Anupama was such a bad mom that she purposefully saved CA last? He didn't even get CA therapy to remove that from her head. Anuj knows the conversation between him and Anupama. It's not like Anupama left happily - there were misunderstandings and a reason why Anupama left. Not saying that Anupama is right but there was a reason. Why is Anuj letting CA continue to be traumatized with the fact that Anupama never loved her? He knows in his heart that isn't true. Keep whatever anger you have to yourself but don't let your daughter live with that understanding. It'll flaw her perception of the world.

7. Going back to Anupama's jogan phase, 5 years is no joke. I feel like if someone's stuck inside their home for a week, going back out in the world will be a change. 5 years is CRAZY. How did Devika think that Anupama has the mental capacity to go all the way to America after spending 5 years in a house? How did Anupama gain this confidence? Even the most confident person would need some reorientation after 5 years.

I think you're expecting way too much logic from this show.

This is how it all goes down

Writer: Hmmm....what do we show today on Anupama

Director: Hold on let me bring this random box of chits.

Writer *picks out a chit*: Well let's see. Today Anupama will say she was looking for Anuj. Even though it makes no sense. Since she's the one who left in the first place

*Writer and Director look at each other and shrug*

Director: Oh well. We just need TRP. We just need audience to mindlessly watch this in the background as they do other important work around the house. Just write the scenes.

*Writer writes the scene. Director and actors shoot it. PH airs it. Audience scratches their head about wtf is even going on but continue watching in hopes that something makes sense eventually.*

*Writer and Director continue to draw chits and nothing ever makes sense until TRP dips again and they come up with new pointless leap track and faltu twist. One day eventually serial is shut and audience realises they've been made fools*

The end

There is nothing more to it. There is no sense, no logic, no continuity, no storyline, no character sketches. This is ITV, the only thing they care about is TRP. Any other efforts dwindled in a year of the show airing. They no longer care once they have some stable TRPs

Not that difficult to imagine actually.

Mental health is ridiculed on the show.

I mean the trauma dealing of a teenager who has seen so much in her life already like abandonment preceded by insecurities, abuse is compared to trauma dealing of an adult.

A 7 year old was expected to show maturity and understanding that even adult, married, biological "kids" who grew up with their family were not expected to exhibit.

Toh yeh kaunsi nayi baat hain.

Do you really think that they are putting logic in the story? Nehhh! It's all written one hour before the actual episodes...you know our itv writers are so prosmiley36

In both the MaAn separation track there was no logical reason. Both the reasons were stupid.
