He asked all the rishis about pati dharma, pati-patni relationship for devi Ahiliya

So wouldn't he try to make praja understand Sitaji purity ? Why will praja not believe him if They consider him as their Bhagwan? smiley5

They won't understand cause there is conflict of interest, before a god, he is her husband to them so🤷‍♀️

2) By listening to Praja, if Ramji sent Sitaji away then what he is teaching to people ?

If outsiders gossiping then you abandon your loved ones smiley24 I will again say that was the decision sita took, she did not want people to point finger at Ram, Ram did not accept that he was forced, he wanted to give throne to Bharat but before he could do that Sita got to know and said if he will leave then he is proving them right, he will prove it that Sita was wrong so they both left

3) Whatever Praja wants, you respect it blindly and fulfill their demands ? smiley18 It was not about what praja wants, it was what they needed, Ram Avatar happened to show the world, what is an ideal man and ideal king, a king's foremost duty is to keep his public above himself let alone his family

4) Why Sitaji left by her own (if she did) seeing Ramji in Dharma sankat ..why you leave so easily for few people gossiping that too lie??? I gave the reason in the second question, she said if she won't go then people will say it's dictatorship, they aren't heard and if they both go then they will prove to the public that Sita was wrong

5) Why Agni praiksha was done in vanvas, not in Ayodhya? I used to believe there was 2 Sitas but like Pete said that was later addition so most probably cause Ram's soldier was talking bad about Sita and her character, they said we fought this war to bring her back and we deserves to know that we did it for a lady who really loved her husband (and now that we are talking about Treta yug, we can't compare everything according to modern day standards, they won't have the same thoughts about consent as we have, we need to give them the benifit of doubt)

6)If Ramji made mistake by sending Sitaji away..then why he is considered epitome of everything? It's all about perception, if you will find his helplessness behind his actions then you would know how selfless he was, like I said before he protected sita from world while taking all the abuse to himself, he too could have choose peace but that peace would have come at the cost of Sita's character, so he chose to sacrifice his character for her peace

The only thing brings some peace to me is that - Ramji did it to protect her from hurt and disrespect for Sitaji by some praja...

Keeping public above despite they spit venom and demands unreasonable

And she was, I am just talking about position not the roles, you can't have 2 people with equal power making decisions, this could lead to difference of opinion. If Siya Mata decided that this policy needs to run in Ayodhya then she can of course do it but King's stamp would be needed but if Ram ji decided to do the same he won't need Queen's stamp and it just my thinking

Of course we don't have any books about how politics of Ayodhya was handled but just reading the Ramayan I have got this idea

I got your point, but in NDTV Ramayan, they have given us few episodes on how Ram ruled so for the time Sita was there, Ram always asked sita to share her opinions on whatever problem comes, she gave it with whatever her knowledge was and Ram accepted that and sometimes out her point forward and they came to a understand and the thing was sita was not there for long so we don't know for sure that there were difference of opinions but if we assume that she was there than our whole argument was baseless cause that shows women did have good position

NDTV as in Gurmeet one right? I didn't knew they did that but yet its very much possible not just Ram ji asking Siya maa decision and presenting in court but also she being the active member of Royal court. She was the Queen afterall and in Ram Darbaar she was always showed sitting next to Ram ji not on a lower throne. In fact after Ram ji she was the authority of decision making

smiley36arguments can never be baseless, I also considered that it could be possible Siya Mata Queen's position could have been equal to the King, we just don't have written evidence to support that but it's very much possible. As they're incarnation of lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi what good the world is without material what good material is without the world 🤷

And this discussion was amazing smiley31

It is unreasonable, but I guess that's what they showed even though the public was bad to Ram and Sita, they did undermined Ram's authority by questioning why his wife is a queen, what she is still doing in the palace, so this could turn out in a rebellion, even if Ram had left the throne for his wife, it would have set the example that leave at the first chance you get, they could have stopped a rebellion by leaving but at what cost? He went to forest for a promise he did not even gave, cause that's what he believed was Ayodhya's tradition, no matter from which angle you and I looked at it, it's a situation where there can be thousands of ifs and buts and we need to remember that looking at a situation from outsider' pov and living in that particular situation will lead to different actions one could have taken, we exactly don't know what was the right thing he could have done, but he surely did what he could do, he let her go with a sense of pride and self respect, he taught the world that no matter how demanding a sacrifice is you need to make it for the public even if they are wrong, plus wrong or right doesn't matter cause even after thousands of years, he is bearing the consequences of his actions

Another fact which satisfies me is that -

Both Ramji and Sitaji incarnate to serve Praja by freeing the world from Ravan's atyachar and bring transformation in the society

So they had mutual understanding of serving Praja as their priority in this birth

yeah they did, you should watch episode 212-220, there you will find that

Yeah, Sita Maa sits next to Sri Ram in Ram Darbar which definitely shows her position, and we can't compare it with Dasrath and his wife cause Dasrath has always sat alone on his throne
