But she doesn’t love him like an actual mother would, for her Armaan’s sacrifices and people pleasing is more important than his happiness. Armaan does know this- he is not unaware. He will get to the point when after losing Abhira, he will stop caring because he knows they don’t care about his happiness. It’s like what happens with Dev in KRPKAB when he had broken up with Sonakshi and then drunkenly told his mom that she was his only happiness and he had to sacrifice her for his mom. They were all selfish in their love. Similarly Armaan knows but he still loves Vidya and Dadisaa so much, he is willing to do everything for them. I’m looking really forward to that, because ITVs hardly show character progression of male characters and Armaan’s character has a lot of scope.
