With Mein, yes… he absolutely doesn’t need to promote a thing because he’s not even used properly in the show. So … understandable. He had maybe 2-3 episodes to shine and then nothing. I’m sure he’s aware of the feedback and handles it well so he can make better choices. If he promotes it, I feel he’ll just get trolled 🙈

Ayeza has always gone all out for the show promotions. Especially the last couple of years, she's got her own photoshoot and videos made. She literally made a TikTok account for her Geeti character

Barring Ayeza, I think Shahzad Nawaz (mainly on stories) and Nameer have promoted it the most.

Wahaj doesn't need to go aboard with it or repost all fan stories but at least acknowledge the stuff your costars put up. Ayeza had put some stories and tagged him but to no response afai remember. Speaking of Ayeza, the kind of tweets I read during the first 2-3 episodes about Mubashira from fanatical fans were really obnoxious. That did not stop her. And Wahaj did post some pictures clicked during the Mein photoshoot but did not acknowledge the character or the show, just mentioned the photographer.

If he is really angry with someone, it should be the makers of this show. His co-stars had no fault in this , esp Ayeza has always praised him. Acknowledging her is the bare minimum IMO

Don’t get my hopes up was my first reaction 😂😂 Part of me really wants this torture fest to end soon

Also far be it from me to underestimate capacity for rushed endings in Pakistani dramas 🤯 , but I honestly don’t think you can wrap up this mess in 2 episodes 😱

i think it’ll just go back to its original Monday slot and BRKRJ will take the Tuesday one. So let’s see

I agree with this. He doesn't need to promote but he should atleast acknowledge when costars tag him. His team should also take care of this

He’s literally dressed up as Zaid but doesn’t acknowledge the character. Zaid on the yacht - still nothing 😂 I don’t think it’s a passive aggressive thing. He still seems cordial with Badar. And the BTS from Mein has shown some wholesome moments on set too. He also has the collab posts with Ayeza up.

I just think it’s a PR thing and he’s kept the audience reaction and critic reaction to his performance and character in mind. Name one critic who has appreciated him in this drama. There are none. Everyone has only one thing to say - he’s wasted in this drama. And most of them are not even understanding the character of Zaid because he’s hardly there. I’ve seen critics appreciate every character from time to time but when it comes to Zaid they’re just like 🤔

And he is someone who always takes feedback very seriously. His PR probably thought the smartest way to go about it is to not bring something he’s being criticized for even more into the limelight. He was all into TB when it aired - his SM was full of fanart, reviews, fanvideos etc etc - but over the summer he’s had a more cautious approach and does things selectively.

Also I think switching camps to Geo and 7th sky might have something to do with it. Channels compete so perhaps it’s a camp thing 🤷‍♀️ But mostly I think he’s just being very cautious on SM and selective
