No seriously, no one talks about Ranbir acting when it comes to Animal. A blockbuster doesnt mean he was a better actor than Vicky.

That is why even in those flop awards Vicky has critical acclaim and popular nominated (also supporting) for Dunki) while Ranbir will have to dance for the popular award.

It is the truth, Vanga is busy having a meltdown because people are calling out his movie. That is what it is known for, not for Ranbir acting. Tomorrow Sam Bahdur is releasing in Zee Tv watch Twitter go mad about Vicky acting...again.

This movie would be perfect if it was Ranveer, Deepika and Vicky. Instead we got THAT!!! I am supposed to believe Vicky will fall in love with her?

Several critics who usually love films like Sam gave the film average rating.

As for Vicky's acting, multiple reviews said he was mimicking Dev Anand in a biopic about Sam Manekshaw. Animal is a blockbuster both in India and abroad. People went to watch because 3 hr 21 film was engaging for them. Not because of some people crying online about few scenes lol. Vanga himself said in Komal interview that he'd pick RK as the best part Animal if he had to choose one thing.

Reason why Sam did average business at BO was because it didn't impress even the critics who loved Raazi. It had 60 lakh footfalls in India and was a flop overseas. While Animal did 540 cr+ nett in India with 3 lakh footfalls and did 30 M overseas.

If Sam had worked with target audience, it would have collected like Raazi, OMG 2 etc. These critics reviews show why. Animal wasn't made to impress such critics anyways, but massive wide audience went to watch it both in India and overseas.
