Why is the audience even thinking he's talking about Ayra as he talks about fear of loving and getting rejected again...he's happily calling her every day and tells MJ to shut up and don't interfere because what he had with Ayra is special...in no way he's behaving like Ayra killed his belief in love...and MJ also sees he's still desperately trying to call Ayra...where in the world is this guy acting like Ayra made him too scarred to believe in love ..?
And why did MJ look so sorry in the previous episode when he said pehle bhi bola tha....why would the camera stay on her for almost a minute if she was feeling bad about what Ayra did to Zaid! 🤔🤭
No, it is totally the fault of the makers - try completely forgetting that Zaid-MJ had a past and watching it. It kind of would make sense to think of Ayra too- their hints have been very ambiguous and cryptic. There is a possibility of believing either theory.
Especially, if someone trusted Ayra-Zaid love story and believed that Zaid is in love with Ayra - he said 'I love you' to her multiple times, so there is a love story. I believed Zaid when he said 'I love you' to Ayra. He loves her and deeply care for her, but he is not in love with her - that is a passionate feeling.(Look at the way he is looking at Mubashira, like he can't get enough of her. There was a discussion in the thread earlier about loving someone and being in love with some one - to which I agree wholeheartedly.). He was done with 'being in love' - that is why he couldn't tell Kashmala that he loves Ayra - instead he says love is not important, it was the case of sour grapes. But you can ignore all these too - doesn't harm - and just believe that there was nothing between Zaid and MJ!
In the balcony scene, it was directed to MJ - he was subtly taunting her actually, look at his pained smirk and head shake before saying 'darr lag raha hai' and after saying all that, he kept gauging her expression - as he was seeing what he wanted to see on her face before walking away. But do you not feel the ambiguity - he said 'pehele bhi ek baar kaha tha', if they wanted there could have been a pronoun, 'pehele bhi ek baar tumhe kaha tha' or something - but no, They won't give that, just keep on guessing. So, I believe that Zaid was in love with MJ before and had his heart broken when she married Mohib and his inability to trust her stems from that. But, honestly, I wouldn't blame anyone who thinks otherwise at this juncture!
