Hmm...he said let's talk...

The next morning he's again pensive...not in a mood to talk even as she confessed she doesn't need him to love her...her mohabbat is enough for her.

Something did happen that night that made him get his guard up is what's implied.

And him sharing something he loves about the rain, them spending so much time talking...yes we all want to hear confession in words...that will come only in the last episode...like Meerab did. 🤭

yep especially since the person doing it is Asif - who she knows is capable of anything. The screaming and panicking was understandable. Take that physical helplessness that she’s feeling and then add that to the juxtaposition Badar did with MJ/Zaid in Turkey - another thing Ayra is helpless about at this point because she herself gave Zaid up in a way.

So from this aspect the juxtaposition makes sense. I get it. But it did take away from the Zaid/MJ stuff for me. It was distracting. But it does highlight that for the director it was important to keep the audience engaged with Ayra too.

I mean… look at how Zaid is getting dragged now by the audience. It’s perfectly logical. Him warming up towards Biwi 1 while Biwi 2 is suffering at home? And in danger of getting abused? Yeah. Not a good look.

You would think Asif would be excited when Zaid said that MJ is helping him and she’s a caring person. I think he’s too fixated on Ayra to enjoy these little victories

No one? Anyone ? Might just be me 😬🥰

Me too. I was thinking why do they always make Wahaj's character sneeze? I was almost waiting him to say 'I hate winters' smiley1smiley36

Haha he is getting paid to sneeze on this show, didn’t you know? They asked which actor can act out the cutest sneeze and they landed on Wahaj based on that TB scene 👏

That’s how he got Zaid’s role 👍

(excuse my sarcasm 😂)

Na I’m bored already and don’t care anymore. It’s too little too late man. I feel like if there was a backstory it should have come up now. So I’m back to thinking he just meant Ayra. Even if not on the balcony today he definitely meant Ayra. And it makes sense to me. He can’t reach Ayra, he doesn’t know how to pacify her, he’s feeling lonely - Love shouldn’t make you this lonely. It was just sad boi times lol

of course later on he will come to love MJ too. She’s more than willing to wait. I’m totally okay with the narrative that his love with Ayra didn’t work out because she didn’t choose him in the end. And then him finding love again with MJ. It’s good enough for me 👍

I am actually glad that the season analogy that they used in the OST is making sense so far. I was wondering what was the reason to use winter as the backdrop to showcase their romance, winter is the gloom, romance is normally shown with either spring or at least rainy season hi karlete, but winter hi kyon?- didn't really think that they will be cooking this whole Asif-Ayra-Ryan thriller, while Zaid and Mubashira were romancing. smiley14

Absolutely...and through all the chill that's out there, they are keeping themselves warm with coffee...dancing ..nice 👍

I really love coffee on this couple. ☺️😄

I think that dialogue was to mislead MJ. She was totally made to feel this mohabbat feeling is only from her side....he's just spending quality time with her, which is enough for her. ..when he's actually really in love, but he's afraid to call it lovr... leave it anyway...

Bhaabhi remembering Ayra's wish to die ..she died today. Whatever little love she had for Zaid, it was little to start with, when they got married - they got by because he was quite accommodating until she felt the pressures from the family... whatever little love she had, died today. That's the symbolism of Ayra's death.

May be that is what the makers wanted - 'If someone believes Zaid-MJ had a backstory, then good, let's sprinkle somethings here and there for them. And if someone is thinking otherwise, then let's make the same things ambiguously, so they'd believe their narrative too. Because we are just too lazy to convince either party. Let them keep guessing!' smiley2smiley16

But I just feel that everything would have made sense with a backstory.
