At outset for some it may look like Virat suddenly barging into Jahan's flat (he never barged inside like this earlier, most of us didn't know Virat is even aware of her flat number) to interrupt an intimate Chitnis family meeting has helped in stopping Gautam's mother revealing about Jayesh's affair to his mom, actual purpose of scene seems much deeper.

It looked like thru Gautam's character KMTMG writers gave formal intro to Aaji & also reiterate to viewers about 'how big a businessman Virat is, that he is Amruta's Indie banks influential rich client, for whom she works'.

Also there is a foreshadowing given thru Amruta's dialogue to Virat, not sure how many noticed.

Gautam in future might manage Virat/Ahuja's bank accounts NOT Amruta. Either Gautam will join Indie international bank soon or Virat/Ahuja's will shift all their bank accounts to this local bank for which Gautam currently works.Both ways, Gautam won't need to continue his alliance with Amruta.

Good if so. Dont know why most bad characters are around Virat. That side seems like a magnet for such characters.

And that also means he will work for Mrs. Ahuja later on.

Btw Virat had come to the flat once earlier - demanding she apologize to Rajiv.

Bhavani Ammu convo - may be its in retrospect that mom finds it bad that they are lying to Aaji. Felt odd cause she was the one who wanted to hide it in the first place. She even sided with Jayesh - sounded like it - in the convo. It is something they have to talk about to Aaji - yup her health can be an issue. But much better to know about it from them than others.

Anyways she is around for 40 days - that may be ~50 eps.. that's ~100th ep. Lohri, Makar Sankranti, and Ammu's birthday, then engagement coming up. Need to see how long they drag the info. Generally the game is extended for a long time - in that sense don't see an early resolution, even if I would prefer it.

[btw.. something tells me Ishika will be badly insulted probably by Ammu.]

We haven’t forgotten, but looks like makers have. That’s why I think Bhavya tweeted about Rajiv with a gun and showed his frustration. Although the story currently doesn’t really need him and Nimrit now. Aaji and Amvira with their shenanigans are enough for the show currently.

Thats true. Might as well have sent Nimrit off to his house. Aaji's entry has changed the plot quite a bit - mostly for the good... bad side has been that now Babita is even more obnoxious. Dont think they've forgotten the current 5cr thing - will be odd if they did. but its an info Ammu could've passed on to Virat in any of the meeting the past eps. Guess in the end when the topic comes up Virat will go 'I had told her to do it, didnt she do it? I'll teach her a lesson.'

The team doesn't drag much compared to other shows let's hope the truth comes out soon maybe after all the celebrations (finger crossed)

Here you go! Todha lamba hai but this is the first part

The main reason for viewers to watch this show is Sriti Di's comeback to fiction. Nowadays, it's hard to gain viewers' attention to watch ITV shows as we have more options and are annoyed with their content (no authenticity and modern and relatable stories). Still, for our favorite actors, we undoubtedly give them a try. Sriti Di and Arjit Bhai were the main reasons for me as I saw their previous shows, and I know about their lovely bond offscreen.

The promo was fine. I didn't feel much was shown, and it was utterly surprising. We just got the point of both leads thinking differently about love, which was interesting, indeed.

Now, why watch KMTMG? Well, the show has potential in terms of story. But this is an ITV show, so would the makers succeed in pleasing the audience with what they want? Or will they go ITV's way and disappoint us midway? Let's hope for the best!

Watching its first episodes, we can see who the main characters are and how interesting they are. If asked, there are engaging positive elements. The main one is unequivocally Amruta "Bhavani" Chitnis, played by the fantastic Sriti Jha. She has everything we wished for a female leading role. She is truthful to herself, sophisticated, modern, independent, ambitious, and outspoken. She is fierce and isn't afraid to speak the truth no matter who is in front of her. She isn't playing any games and goes straight to the point. This side of her should not change. Plus, her standing for her Mother is worth praise.

However, she is an ITV FL, so she has that "perfect" tag in her, a lovable girl willing to help whoever is in trouble. Nevertheless, her character is different from the current Zee female leads. Quite refreshing!

The second one is her Aai, Bhavani. She is a relatable character simply because she represents so many women. A perfect housewife but unschooled (here), so what? There is a lot to explore about her because of her current situation. She was cheated on and still thinks of her kids. We can't blame her as a Mother, but "Honey, it's not about your kids anymore. It's about you". Her kids are adults now. She has done enough and needs to understand that. It's her turn to make them proud and show the world her worth (especially her stupid ex-husband-to-be if they get divorced). It’s never too late.

If there is one character among all to transform entirely, it's Bhavani Chitnis. For someone of her age and me, knowing ITV, I know they will make her accept her husband back, but that man doesn't deserve her or their children. Would it be too much to expect a change here? Something like English Vinglish (taking classes), for example, with a twist. Her role needs a proper evolution. Both ladies are my motivation to watch it.

Then, we have Amvira, our leading couple. Srijit were unexpected, but thanks to their friendship and comfort level, they are not as bad as some thought. Their plus point is their cute fights, just like Tom and Jerry. They are hilarious. However, some of their moments shouldn't be forced and tone down a bit (staring and all, ITV has to stop with it. You guys can do better).

Moreover, Amruta's character is near perfect and doesn't suit someone like Virat (not yet). But I'm assuming his character is slowly evolving. We can't wait for it otherwise some of us will be disappointed. I won't say much about them. I will come later to give my perspective when their love story begins. But the couple is alluring, and we can't wait to see more.

Apart from them, some other points are also interesting and not to be ignored. Indeed, we can't talk about Bhavani without mentioning Jayesh and Ishika's affair. Her Husband's EMA is something not acceptable, yet shown as healthy. This part of the story has to be well-written because there are women like Bhavani who let it be, but it's time to say, "Enough is enough." They deserve better.

Also, how does someone like Ishika end up with Jayesh? That would be interesting to know. Because let's be honest, she can find much better than Jayesh, so why him? And if she is the main villain in the story, you have to be convincing because we feel she is mean but not so devilish (just like Babita, who I’ll refer to soon)

Those are, for me, the main reasons to watch it. Let's get more into the cast now. Apart from Amu, Bhavani, Virat, and Ishika, other characters are convenient in the story: Shekar in support of Virat, Jahan for Bhavani, Harsh at some moments, and Dildar. Why them? Well, they are the sensible ones. I won't develop more on them, but some of the above characters need more layers and space (for example, Dildar Ji).

Then last but not least, our Dnyaneshwari Ji urf Aaji. She brought a needed freshness with her entry, and we can't wait to see her (we hope) support Bhavani against her son. It is a show where women empower other women, right? We have yet to see it. After Amu defies her "ideal" Father for her Aai, we expect Aaji and her to teach Bhavani life lessons. She needs to think about her self-respect. ITV needs this originality, and we believe in you, Team KMTMG. Don't mess this up!

Talking about women empowerment, let's move to Mrs. Babita Ahuja. I won't lie. I can't stand this woman and her personality. She is the worst with Bebe. They disgust me with their Class issues. It said that a woman's worst enemy is a woman. That's Babita. Honestly, I'm speechless when it comes to them.

Both supporting Ishika and her affair are insane. Bhavani-wise or Nimmi-wise, these women need some reality checks. Unfortunately, it won't happen until her daughter's marriage breaks (parallel to Bhavani's story). Babita is somehow the cause of Ahujas' misfortunes. There is something odd about her. Will she change with Amruta becoming Mrs. Virat Singh Ahuja soon? Unless she is a second villain (typical ITV unbearable Saas), we can hope for the best for her role. If she has a heart, she ought to change. It's on you, writers! We have had enough of love triangles and the witch Mother-in-law. Please give us some variations.
