he does too few movies, and I don't think he forms relationships with directors and production houses other than vishal.

I think it’s been a little easier for Kiara because she did female lead roles and those are more readily available. And realistically she couldn’t afford to just sit home and be choosy. After Kabir Singh Shahid probably wanted something worthy of his new acquired status. He didn’t want to just sign anything that came his way. And once again, realistically he could afford to just sit home and be choosy. It’s combined effects of industry misogyny and male ego. And I don’t think Shahid is alone in this waiting approach.
