It will be forgotten in the light of people largely preferring Animal. Also Shahid's fanbase is 50% women who liked JVM, so films like Kabir Singh or Jersey did not help him stardom wise.

shahid has starred in movies that have repeat value, his first movie was so refreshing at the time. ishq vishq, dil maange more ( shahid is so cute in this movie, I loved the ayesha takia shahid pair), vivah, 36 china town, chup chup ke ( the latter 2 songs are so good).

jab we met ( a classic you can watch a 100x)

fool and final ( perfect shahid and ayesha songs)

2008 was a disappointment, kismet konnection, not sure why he didn't capitalize on jwm success. (still the songs are good)

kaminey a classic again

dil bole hadippa ( he got a raw deal, but again the songs......)

2010, 2011, 2012, he got a raw deal from yrf, waiting for sudh desi romance and his film with his dad was a dud ( but again good songs)

2013, I loved r rajkumar a hit

phata poster great songs

2014 Haider a classic,

both of his vishal Bhardwaj films will stay relevant for many years

2015 his kjo movie shaandaar a dud, but good songs

2016 udta punjab, again a very entertaining classic

2017 rangoon, who would have thought this would be a dud, but an indulgent vishal, and an annoying kangana. I always wonder how good a movie it would have been with kareena as a replacement for kangana.

2018 padmavaat. slb purposely gave shahid the attire to let ranveer come across as menacing. I personally like the shahid deepika scenes , ranveer was irritating, over the top

and again he had a blockbuster performance but didn't use it to his favor

how many movies has kiara done after kabir singh?

he does too few movies, and I don't think he forms relationships with directors and production houses other than vishal.

not a single bad performance in any of his movie. always watchable

has done such a variety, lover boy, criminal, Shakespeare, action, everything.
