Definitely there's some relationship between Armaan and Manjiri.

Doormat syndrome, trying to be in everyone's good books. Living in a household full of unhappy family members with an illusion about Life being beautiful.

Armaan babu you are giving full on green signal to Roohi. In fact Aarohi's daughter is more straight forward she described his strength and weakness in one to.

By not disclosing facts Armaan is also true to his profession, he never once thought about Rohit's trauma.

A couple can discover each other's secrets, why not!!!! He brushed off Roohi when she said Rohit left because of us.

Manjiri had similar traits. She hid information, acted as if her family is perfect, never spoke out. The day her patience broke all true colors came out.

Madhav was right the day Armaan looses himself it won't be easy.

Akshara has sent her daughter into a hellhole.

What utter BS.

Sorry............... but Armaan Poddar is nothing like Manjiri Birla.

Manjiri was one namuna that cannot be replicated. However she can be surpassed, and Vidya is doing just great in those stakes.

Armaan is a complicated softie, who does not know what true love is. He only knows that to experience love one has to give a lot and one has to be responsible. Because in every relationship of his in the Poddar household, people have expected impossible things out of him for him to receive love from them. Every single person needs him to show up for them, and sacrifice for them.

Just look at Rohit, the brother who was supposed to be Lakshman to Armaan's Ram. Nor did Vidya understand Ram, nor did her son Rohit. The first obstacle and the whole Ayodhya came crumbling down. Rohit lost his senses and started badttamizi with that brother who kept his brothers happiness above his own.

Look at Vidya, today Madhav accused her of having a bias for her own son over her step son. She was outraged at the suggestion, but so true Madhav was. When she first saw Ruhi, she had spoken to Dadisa for Ruhi's hand for Armaan. But as soon as Dadisa said that she felt Ruhi was a better match for Rohit, this epitome of motherhood melted and gave in to Dadisa's whims. It was so easy for her to change her mind. What is it, if not bias? While Rohit gets all her pampering and love and adulation, Armaan gets all her worries, her responsibilities and her expectations.

Then look at all his cousins.
His cousins look up to him, when they need something from him. But don't give him the credit or the love when their work is over. Look at this thankless Charu. She did not bother to find out why Armaan was late to come to office and talk to Dadisa on her behalf. And then when he stood by Abhira while she was making her way with Dadisa over her studying in college, Charu did not hesitate to taunt Armaan over what she thought were his supposed double standards.

This Charu is proving to be Fufasa's true daughter in that respect. Accusing Armaan of keeping Krish away from the office because he wants to take over Poddar's legal empire.

Actually the Poddar's don't deserve Armaan. And they will soon find out his true worth when he hotfoots out of their house and their business, and follows his wife when she leaves him. That Dadisa has a warped sense of love. She wants to love him because deep down she knows he is the only one who will get them acclaim.

So NO. Armaan is NOTHING like Manjiri. Dono ek dusre se Koso door hai.

-
Much love, light and laughter,
Battu.

You are looking at Armaan from a male lead pov

I am talking about character traits.

Everyone takes advantage of Armaan, likewise Manjiri was used by her sister, husband and brother in law. Her actual colors came to surface after Neil's death. Yes also very much betrayed in love

I am not talking about Armaan's love life here

Armaan is lucky in that aspect, his two minute noodle infatuation was two sided.

Found similarities between both where family makes a particular member their doormats.

Okay can Armaan be man enough to confide or discuss the course events that took place during the resort trip with Madhav Poddar

How he could not contact Ruhi when he was busy saving the Sharma family.

How he kept everyone in the dark.

Ruhi's apprehensions about Rohit leaving the house because he stumbled across their fatal attraction.

Madhav faced a similar situation perhaps he will be better position to understand.

Till date Armaan hasn't revealed anything.

these traits do look similar to me.

Yes Abhira can change him totally, we are witness to Armaan's evolution. Unfortunately Manjiri was always unlucky so no comparison.

Wrong. Ruhi Birla is like Manjiri Birla and Poppy Birla. Delusional af, she thinks Armaan is still hers when he is married to Abhira smiley29

I think there will be a same-to-same scene of her asking Abhira to give Armaan to her smiley8

I get what you are saying. You are referring to the initial manjari, during first few months of the show, the sehmi Hui who thought she is a burden, and was a people pleaser. That manjari & starting Akshu goenka were similar in nature.

I felt the same that Armaan is like Akshu when the 3rd gen started.

The reason why others might not agree & they are right, because Manjari 's arc changed a lot , especially after leap. She became delusional & manipulative. So it's hard for us to compare Armaan with Manjari.

I think armaan is in love with the concept of family. Somewhere deep down he knows he is not the part of that family and he is trying too hard to be included. He never want to believe every single person except his father is using him they even charu his cousin is behaving as if he is responsible for dadisa not allowing her to work. And armaan's mother she emotionally manipulate him and claim that she loves both his children equally when it's her desire to be perfect in every sense making her do things for armaan. I feel bad for madhav his father he truly loves his son but his son is eager to get love from people who doesn't even care. And he fell in love with ruhi because of her views on family. He knows if someone like abhira is his wife then she won't agree with the his concept of family and would question everyone. That's what he doesn't like about abhira she likes confrontation and talking about things logically rather than being emotional and burying everything inside . Armaan hates to confront his family because he thinks if he said something he would lose his family and because of that he gets frustrated when abhira does something.

I agree, they definitely have some similar traits. Manjari tried to be a perfect wife before realising that all her efforts will never make Harsh love her. She tried to be mahaan to hold her family together except it never made anyone happy. Harsh was never happy with her, Neil was abused and mistreated all his life and her own son Abhimanyu always felt miserable in his family. Ultimately she became selfish for her son, and wanted his happiness at all cost. The thing is- happiness doesn’t come like this. You can’t buy happiness or earn happiness. Manjari was positive in a lot of ways but it doesn’t mean that she will be happy because she is a good person. You have to create happiness, learn to be happy with yourself. That was something Akshara was able to achieve albeit years later. As for Armaan- he thinks he will get Family’s love by being the golden son and he tries hard to fullfill their expectations . Luckily he has Abhira , Akshav’s daughter who will teach him the real meaning of happiness and love. Abhinav being an orphan, never having family and facing rejections was always be able to be happy in his life. He always looked for the silver lining, and was patient. Because he was not depended on others for happiness- yes he gained true joy after getting Abhir and Akshara in his life. But he was happy before them and he was happy with them. Even with all the upheavals, the twists and turns in their family and relationships- he was still positive. That’s also Abhira. And I do believe that Armaan will also become like this.

manjeri was a stupid psychotic woman..who was first weak then became obsessive and controlling. Armaan is nothing like that crazy woman. He’s a smart successful man who’s also caring and sacrificial and he’ll do anything for his family..and now abhira as well.
