Actually, it took a whole year for them to confess. In between, there was loads of drama and angst. After confessing, there was a brief happy period, but once again, he showed his toxic behavior. After the leap, it reached a whole new level of toxicity, turning into a psycho.

Armaan ka bhi yahi hona hai by the end but like you mentioned that Armaan is definitely better toh I hope they don't ruin Armaan at least till they fall in love. That's the max I can expect from a sitara and DKP show.

He might have feelings for Roohi but now he is over it. He doesn't even think about Roohi ( which is the biggest sign) . He only cares for her out of guilt and because she is Rohit's wife.

He doesn't love Abhira too but she is all over his mind, you can call it a responsibility but he only thinks about her , not Roohi.

He didn't flirt with Roohi, instead he was flirting with Abhira. He only went to Roohi like any other family member who would be struggling to fly the kite. And instantly, he came back to Abhira and flew the kite with her happily.
