ITV me ML ke cousins ka yehi issue hota hai.. each cousin has different probs and issues in which the ML and FL get involved and cousin to nikal leta hai but the leads get into problem / fights / separation

That's what Manoj too mentioned to Madhav that Armaan isn't as weak as Madhav. I think, one major reason Madhav becomes happy to see Abhira winning over Dadi sa is his past where he couldn't do the same for his wife which he sees now Abhira doing ( some credit to Armaan too for silently supporting her at times which probably Madhav did't do for his love, he basically seem to give up).

Also, because I haven't watched the older episodes properly -

How Vidya got married to Madhav? Armaan's mother got married to Madhav, did she live in Poddar House? And then she died and after her death - Dadi sa got him married to Vidya? Because ek sath dono se shadi toh nhi ki hogi?

They haven't given us a backstory with details yet, just a little hint here or there

And Armaan mother I think died at childbirth
