On a serious note Dadi does give him importance. She did accept she's allowing Abhira to study only for Armaan. Didnt say anything to Abhira for running away from house. When during Ru time she told ek baar bahu gharse bahar gyi wapas nahi aa sakti

She does love Armaan, because he is Madhav’s offspring.

I think she loves Madhav as well though doesn’t show it often.
Maybe it’s like at times to keep Armaan in check reminds him of that.

More than Dadi, Vidya is also nice to Armaan ( not completely though because Rohit is her favourite) but dadi Sa k liye phir bhi I get ki he is her son's son but Vidya ka toh beta nhi hai , but I am glad that she treats him nicely and doesn't behave like a typical step mom. Even Vidya has been nice to Abhira too at times. Her biggest issue is that she behaves as Dadi's spoon. I hope, she doesn't turn into another typical step mom or saas.
