If bwood depends on nepo then pak industry depends on gora rang . Bwood atleast finally got a tripti dimri who looks beautiful and unique, has good acting skills and seems to have a good personality. But pak drama's obsession with milky white female actors (and male actors) will put bwood to shame.

Nowadays pak dramas barely make good dramas with strong female roles and all they need is a masoom simple looking female lead who looks masoom while crying.

Dure got jam, IM and khaie right after ktk where she literally had nothing to do and didn't even prove her acting skills. She seems to have strong role in khaie and she had one in jam as well even though she didn't utilize it well. It's only IM where she is second fedel to the male lead. Going by the potential of the upcoming actresses it looks like yumna and sajal wont have any competition anytime soon but the ones like hania, sana etc will competitions. They are mostly cast for their fair skin and popularity than acting skills.

Seeing that it only has 8 episodes and so many actors I think none of the actors will get enough screentime to explore their characters properly and actors with lesser calibre will find it hard to be convincing. I have a strong feeling that the series is a disaster in making. It's helmed by someone with not much experience in directing and most of the directors associated with it also aren't experienced with fast-paced story or movies. There is a huge difference in directing a drama, webseries and a movie. 8 episodes are not enough to give footage to these many actors and explore each of their characters and storyline. The only ensemble cast pak drama I have seen which did justice to almost every character is diyar e dil and it had 33 episodes. Ehd e wafa, sinf e ahan, kuch ankahi all failed to give proper footage to all the main character and these dramas had 20+ episodes.
