Right, there are different ways to look at a situation, my point is why don't we extend the same curtsey to a Male character?? There could be a possibility that even Karthik lost his trust in yuvika?? I am not saying he is right or she is right, I am saying to understand both of their perspectives, we were so quick to judge Karthik but we are so understanding to yuvika, and that's my only difference of opinionOriginally posted by: agreatwcr
I respect your opinions. But for the sake of knowing e/o's opinions, I would like to share my POV too.
I guess Yuvika is more like a flawed girl. None of her rlsp works out be it with her mom, Kartik, her sis and Neil just because she is a restless human. I do agree that she's very much self centric but she's not completely self centric. If she had been one, she would've dumped Mahajans affairs and ran away with Neil. So when Kartik manhandled her and blamed her for her and Neil's rlsp she stood silently and she agreed for the marriage. She broke their rlsp after she lost her trust in Kartik. So this means Yuvika did accept the fact that Kartik's insecurity was justified. She didn't raise her voice and dump him then and there. It means she accepted her fault.
Her not caring about Neil is wrong and most of that part is due to her idiotic family. Right after Shobhna' s death, she was happy to find Neil, similarly during Neil's confession she felt those giggles and butterflies a sunshine girl would feel. Before undergoing all the shit, she gave her cryptic confession to Neil. So if we look at their rlsp overall, it's not like Yuvika is completely blind. She just wants to be free from all the manhusiyat that family has left so that she can find some time for herself and Neil. Moreover she herself had asked Neil for more time because she knew that she won't be able to proceed with their rlsp the way he wants. The only problem with her mentality is that she can solve every problem of Mahajans alone
