Is Armaan scared?

The more I observe Armaan, the more I realize, he is scared. I know he is scared of being ousted just like Ruhi said. But I think it's more than that. I think, he is scared of being happy. He had an infatuation with Ruhi, which he rather immaturely thought as Love. Nevertheless, he was happy. And the first chance he got, he was out of that so called relationship. He didn't even think of fighting for that love. It was Ruhi who wanted to tell everyone the truth. And he stopped her. Later, he began to be happy with Abhira. He was not attracted at first, but he was happier with her. But, even there, he always messes up things. It's like a pattern. Whenever he is happy, he kind of does something which complicates things. In my opinion, he thinks of himself as someone undeserving of love and care and happiness. That's why he was so mad at Abhira when she rebuked Rohit. He is afraid of being taken care of. He will try his best to keep Abhira away from him if what I think is true. Because he knows Abhira is there for him and that kind of scares him. Even if he falls for Abhira, he will try not to give into that feelings. What do you think?

Because of his mother's story and the treatment he gets, he is scared to stand up for himself. Ruhi tried to make him stand up but failed.But Abhira will succeed as we are already seeing changes. I do not think Armaan will purposely try to keep Abhira away . We will have separations later for myriad of reasons but not anytime so soon . Armaan is aware that Abhira has no one in this world. So he will not abandon Abhira. And when he did not shy away from helping and taking care of her when Ruhi's threatening eyes were on him, I do not think he will avoid Abhira now. They will fall for each other unknowingly.

It is Abhira who will avoid him when the time comes (of knowing the truth).

Abhira should avoid him or give him away to Ruhi when she comes to know about them. But if Armaan doesn't stand up for Abhira, then he doesn't deserve her. Hope your words come true and he becomes someone who deserves her. It will be nice growth of character instead of downgrading. He doesn't come off as redflag to me till now. He is more like a yellow flag (Proceed with caution) and hope baby sharma is not too involved or heartbroken when the time comes.

That's an interesting theory.

But tbh I feel Armaan is only scared of Dadisa. He does anything and everything to please her the most, get her approval is utmost priority.

Dadisa chose Rohit for Ruhi. Armaan didn't have the guts to go against her decision. So now he is aansoo bahaing in the corner since he can't say anything to her.

I feel like even in the future, Armaan won't be able to take a stand for Abhira too even if he falls for her. For him Dadisa> everyone.

Armaan has deep-seated issues thanks to the way Poddars treated his mother and kept reminding him how he was unwanted. When you live your entire life like that, you develop strong inferiority complex and start to question yourself. Him not standing up for whatever relationship he shared with Ruhi shows just that. But Abhira is changing him. Yes the progress is slow and small, but it is still there. And it will be Abhira who will instill the confidence in him to fight for his rights and stand up against the wrong.

I can totally relate to this. Whenever something good happens with me, I am too scared to even celebrate coz I know something terrible is in the offing and wipe out whatever happiness I had.
