Naksh and the Singhania family had two chances to pursue legal action against the Goenkas, once for a specific issue and another related to Akshara Sr.'s death. Both times, they chose to overlook it because of Naira's love for Kartik. Despite this, the Goenkas, especially Mimi, persistently sought reasons to belittle them. Over time, Kartik's character deteriorated, but despite efforts to redeem him, fans of KaiRa overlooked those red flags due to ShiVin's chemistry and majority were least bothered about the storyline which is why Sirat was also talked about since Shivi played it or else situation would have been soo different. It seems the writers favored the Goenkas, pardoning their many wrongdoings, a bias that has remained unchanged to this day.
