Yeah, 12th Fail or OMG 2 were top notch. Why do you say Filmfare might give it to....?

In this category especially, when was the last time a great commercially successful movie won over more deserving movie? (Dabangg I think. I still consider that non-sense winning over My Name Is Khan but it was 13 years ago) I maybe wrong but I feel in this category Filmfare has shown to reward quality over box office collections in recent years. (Bhaag Milkha winning over Chennai Express and YJHD, Queen over PK to name a few ) Of the 3 SRK movies, I feel Dunki has the best shot at this award. Even though I didn't like it I have met enough people who've absolutely loved the movie - non-SRK fans as well.

Wasn't Kabir Singh the highest grossing movie of 2019? Even War collected more I think. But you proved what I was trying to say. Maybe the jury felt GB was more deserving in spite of other superior box office successes that year.

Filmfare exists to honor nepos and BW parivaar

I neither watch these award shows nor care about which film wins.

Personally I loved Jawan this year.
