Why does everyone keep mentioned that Alia is in the Spyverse, was if this is a good thing the spy verse films are so bad with Pathaan being the worst, on top of that she’s already played a spy in Raazi so there’s no big shock or interest here

It would be a tie between Alia & Deepika.

I don’t think she can be considered number one now. Her acting is limited and when did she give last hit?

As I can only vote, I give you my like for your post this way, RPA (again two movies who shouldn't be compared in the name of boxoffice success).

My vote goes to Deepika because of her screen presence combined with her good acting.

I think one can take - in the commercial part of the Hindi filmindustry - Deepika, Alia and Katrina as the most prolific stars.

At the moment, to me, Deepika is 'the number one'.

To me, it really was the impact Deepika made in Jawan that makes her stand out at the moment (and the part in the prison was on her shoulders alone).

Also Chhapaak was a bold and stunning performance (we all know that there also had been a negative campaign against Deepika at the time of the release).

I'm interested in Merry Christmas as well.

I posted my thoughts earlier but it's easily Deepika all the way.

She had the two biggest releases of the year with Pathaan and Jawan. She was the female lead in Pathaan and stole the show in Jawan with limited screentime. Very few actresses can accomplish what she did in what's probably less than 15 minutes.

And yes, I forgot that Deepika was also dealing with the BoycottBollywood trend back then and all the allegations against her for depression and drugs.

Not "currently", imo. Not when looking at 2023 (which I think is meant with "currently").

I think, with her roles in 2023, Deepika overshadowed Alia...performance-wise, success-wise and being-talked-about-wise.

They're both good in their own way. I'm a little more favourable towards Alia, esp after darlings.
