Quit? What will remain of the show if she isn't there? The problem is majorly with the characterisation. She's playing the titular character and while makers try their best to devalue this character in the show, they also know very well that people are watching the show for AnupaMaid and not for the self proclaimed hero VanRajan.

Even in the era without social media, Ekta was forced to bring back Smriti Irani as Tulsi. Now with so many ways to outrage, people won't allow any generation leap/replacement for someone who personifies the character, unless the production house have a serious fallout with her, which isn't likely.
