Generally female leads have more wider fanbase than male leads ever in itv industry.The reason is very simple as most of the audience are female . Archana was way more popular than Virat. You cannot even compare their level of popularity among tv audience as their difference is huge. Ankita is well known face of it industry even if people haven't watched her show they still know who is she . Female lead of a blockbuster show .Ghkkpm could NEVER get the same level of popularity and fanbase than Pavitra Rishta ever.
Last but not least Shweta Tiwari must not be compared with these two . Her league, acting skills and personality is completely different. Manku and Neil both are not even two percent of her whole successful career. Kasuti Zindagi I season 1 was an iconic show both the shows. Prena was a household name .
Here's the thing, regular exposure keeps your FD alive. If you put up a poll bw some famous YT and SRK, srk will lose, that doesnt mean the other one is more popular than srk.
Ankita, undoubtedly was a huge name, but almost her entire FD is offline. If she's put up against even Sumbul, with just one year old hit show, she'd have lost. Ankita was so so so long ago.
Now it's hard to compare w Neil, bc neil's character as well as personality was disliked by the FD.
Altho my point stands correct, your popularity is proportional to how recently hit you're. One male superstar from ITV I can remember is Rajeev khandelwal, the craze that dude had... even he'll lose if he's put up against SM influencers or some recently hit ITV actor.
