I have a feeling Amruta and Gautam alliance will be fixed but to take revenge of Nimmi broken marriage Babita will break it so to compensate it Virat may end up marrying Amruta.

Amvira will be completely over for me. I will want a new guy for Amruta with a Vengeance (with a capital V), this will completely be against Virat's character. When Virat himself has experienced this (heartbreak in relation) why will he want Amruta to go through the same? and also Bhavani will be completely devastated to see history repeating itself. How will both mother and daughter fight through this?

Sure it will be much more nuanced that that. Have explored better (more acceptable) possibilities in later posts, which go along the same lines.

I had gone to Sri Lanka when Kumkum bhagya was about to be aired, dubbed in Sinhala in the local channels. I could see posters of Abhigya/ casts on cutouts along the roads. Got to read in the local newspaper later about some opposition from their domestic tv production teams about airing Ekta Kappor serials.. Sinhala serials are very simple/natural/logical and realistic. They were of the opinion that Ekta kapoor serials are harmful to creativity and should not be brought into their entertainment world. But, Kumkum bhaya got the green signal/Abhigya became famous like here and many more Hindi serials got dubbed. But sadly, when i visited later found that they started following the Indian serial pattern with too much dressing/melodrama and their originality had decreased. I thought about this with irony when Ekta got the Emmy awards for best tv director.

Western people watching our serials will definitely have wrong impression about our ways and traditions which does not reflect the current social scenario here. I wonder when our serials will get the transformation needed.

It's just a show so such things normally are kept under wraps. Secondly, if Ishika and Jayesh's relation would have been exposed, mainly Jayesh would have been arrested and put in jail, so maybe both mother daughter duo don't want this. Plus Jayesh would be irretrievably anti-Bhavani if she got him arrested. No way for him to 'come back' to them if he was jailed for his infedility. He would definitely want to avenge his 'humiliation', plus if Ishika is jailed as well, then there would be more of Ahujas nonsense to tolerate.

They show nonsense about Indian society. God knows what idea the non-Indian viewers get on seeing all these shows. True that most times people record incidents on phones rather than helping, but that also is seen to sometimes be more detrimental to the innocent bystander than the perpetrator. Fortunately its just 1-3 sentences as of now, but enough to turn me off. Worse is its usually Amruta who is given such dialogues. Can get Bhavani or the Ahuja's saying things, but when its Amruta, which makes it the position of what is 'right' ... well... feels like 'hmm... may be i can have a convo with her and explore if it is actually true - may be it is, may be it isnt.'

Hadn't liked, say for e.g. when they learnt about father's ema, there were a couple of dialogues about how women in society are x, y, z (don't remember exactly). may be true... felt can we stick to how this news affects her and her family rather than over-generalising it on the meta level of society. I get they are trying to send a message perhaps...and may be some may need it ... but think the message will land better without being preachy.

Oh... 'Show dont tell' is a rule in writing. And the telling doesnt land when you are showing later on that ema's are fine and acceptable in the society, which is not the case. if not shamed, it will at least be scoffed at.

Virat is just one of rich premium customers of bank like many others in the country.

Neither Virat owns that bank nor is Amruta his slave..

Amruta's offer letter, her hiring, her employment, her RM role, her salary are still with bank NOT Virat.. now she resigned and is on notice period to bank., if she has paid leave balance she can avail them on notice period too.

Writers made mockery of a high paying manager role in corporate bank.

Last lines of promo dialogues are annoying & trash to hear..

Like someone else had mentioned earlier, jobs in itv are namesakes and keep changing. [Pragya perhaps did quite a lot of things in her lifetime. Oddest one was handling catering for big clients out of the blue. her business thing in 2yr leap was comparatively believable... at least it took her 2 yrs.]

While I didnt like the last lines, do know people who would take similar stands. A bit much w.r.t a job but guess with dialogues they are showing they are much closer than what they actually are or should be.
