1) How do you handle noisy students in your classes?

2) How do you deal with students who bully other students?

3) Are you considered as a strict teacher by your students or do students approach you with ease for clearing their doubts and sharing their problems?

1. Depends on situation. Sometimes you cant control.Sometimes you allow them because you cant always chain this gen kids. The one thing i do to extra noisy kids is tell them to shut up for 10 mins. Every single word spoken in those 10 mins will be counted and punishment will be multiplied by that number. smiley37

2. Generally this doesnt happen. Bullying is kind of an alien concept in Bihar. Maybe it happens in rich spoilt kids of posh schools. Very few students gets bullied in my school. Majority are self sufficient and ready to fight. Since childhood we are always to stand up and fight for yourself. Most of the times we tell students to complain to teachers if something happens. But replying is an inherent characteristic here. In fact its considered insulting and cowardice behavior if someone doesn't reply.

3. LOL Both. Kids ask any type pf questions to me, Kind of like encyclopaedia. And i believe in answering them. Because the no of curious kids asking questions is very less. Most stay mum even if they are having problems. But i am very strict in setting up exam questions, Its impossible to get full marks in my subjects. So much that at times management asks me to done down a little.smiley36

LMAO. There should be priorities. Cool only in class. Kids literally ask everything to me. So much that at times they are afraid to ask other teachers and everything comes to me. smiley36

For Ex there was a GK chapter in class 6 where it was written Firsts in India. The question was first test tube baby in India. I told them the answer. Now one girl started asking what's Test Tube Baby? Now how do you explain it? I tried to explain in simplest terms possible but usko details jaanna tha. I have been a biology student so I had no problems in understanding and explaining but I didn't find it appropriate to talk about in detail to a class with kids at such young age. I had to shut her down saying you will learn it in class 8. If you are curious book maang lo kisi senior se. She was so stubborn wo book le kar aa gayi and told me to explain. I said everything has a proper place and time. Wait till you reach class 8. smiley36

Exams are meant to be tough. Easy exams weakens the base and weak base damages the child in overall development.

Exams se ek story yaad aaya. smiley36 When I joined I joined midway after half yearly exams. So I had to prepare the Final exam questions. Everyone was shocked and crying. The kids who got 80+ in exams regularly hardly crossed 50. smiley37

5. One thing u would like to change in urself.

1. Arjuna by a distance.

2. Lakshman obviously.

3. Saurabh Gurjar (Now WWE superstar) as Vrikodar Bheem.

4. That's exactly what happened. smiley37smiley39

I was supposed to be a doctor. Gave medical entrance, missed out by some numbers. Got computers at home that time. Got addicted. Switched courses. Completed MCA. But while completing i was told to join teaching for few months just so that I get into the habit of working. To my surprise I started enjoying this job a lot. So i didn't change it. Many people aks what's the point of Studying if you had to do this only. I say I like it. It's perfect for me. smiley41

5. Procrastination. smiley35smiley39
