This Dunki vs Salaar caused me migraine yesterday, so i feel i should take a break from that today. Beyond one day i feel bored to read the same Dunki vs Salaar discussions, so sorry i red only the title, didn't even try to read main post, already having migraine after writing 2 long essays in other thread after hectic work.

Nothing against you or had no intent to sound rude in above para, , this is just my irritation at the topics which causes me migraine and i couldn't control posting it looking at the title. Once again nothing against you.

Never cared for Salaar and the inflated Prabhas stardom.

Even the hardcore SRK fans were panning his acting in the movie and it being one of the reasons why the movie was unbearable to them. They found his accent forced and bizarre.

Dunki is doing v good in its own. Do u compare Animal collection with Sam Bahadur? Gadar2 with OMG2?

Salaar is a 400 cr movie having much wider release . Even getting 50% screens in Hindi belt .

If Dunki trends like this then it will be a success. Can't say same about Salaar .

Dunki has more screens in north and worldwide. It has equal number of screens in Hyderabad, Benaguluru, Chennai and the other South Indian metros. In my city it released in RPX regal and all the special formats even just like Jawaan did. I don’t know what you are on about.

General audience don’t care for an actor’s acting in an ensemble cast and entertaining storyline like Dunki. Do you think Salman’s acting was amazing or any better than his usual non-acting style in Bajrangi or Tiger or Sultan ? Or PK was not cringe with OTT Aamir acting ? Or Bahubali both series had some amazing performance from wooden plank Prabhas ? No. The storyline and screenplay was engaging and that’s it. If one wants to watch acting, one’d go to watch Joram. As long as SRK delivers basic in a good movie, his fans are usually happy.

Dunki has been the most entertaining film in a drama genre since last 8-10 yrs I’d say. And I watch every drama genre BW movie. This film as a whole don’t deserve the comments that it’s getting. And I very much doubt any general audience would have issue with it. 2 hrs 41 mins pass like anything. Coming after an actor is okay, but if that destroys the chance of a good movie doing well that’s really low.

In any case, I am hopeful this movie will gain momentum that it deserves, but slowly. Fingers crossed.

I think Bahubali had the best performance from Shivgami and Bhalladev. Uff Rana was so hot 🥵

Not true. Dunki has more screens only in Mumbai, Delhi, Guj, Punjab region .Salaar is also getting 40-50% screens in these places . But in South, Dunki is hardly getting 20-30% any screen tho srk has good fanbase there .

Just checkee Hyd , again Salaar is getting double no of screens.
