Hell no. Gopi Vahu is no way a good role model. Yes, I could empathize with her because:

1) She has no "real" maayka

2) She was uneducated

3) She always lived with someone who tried to control her

Gopi Vahu ke pas limited scope/means the khud ki life me aage badhne ke liye. Usme jitna possible tha, utne me use satisfaction mila, etni hi badi baat hai. Kyonki koi aurat Anupamaa mata ki tarah superhuman na hoti hai aur na honi chahiye.

Also, the show was very regressive.

Gopi Bahu was certainly better than anupama, woman educated herself, became a teacher,had the guts to stand up to her bratty daughter Meera and that son whose name I forgot, so yeah.

Gopi bahu wa uneducated but she complete her basic education after marriage. When once she started it she gave all her attention to it.

She got the love of her husband. She was just 18 years old when got married but never behaved like Anupama.

They destroyed her with leaps but her self respect was important and she was not double Dolki and hypocrat like Anupama.

I also didn’t liked Gopi but seeing how Anupama is behaving being 47 years old I found her sane.

Gopi was stupid initially but she had shown growth after some time but we can’t say that about Anupama.
