Why the pleading and emotional blackmail?

Hi guys, am back with two queries.

1. Will all the pleading, coercion, tears and begging Rohan and his parents to allow the marriage to take place actually redeem Rano's life and the mess that she has got herself into? Infact, i feel they are trying to push her into a deeper hell than she already is in. How can people think that a couple can build a marriage based on deceit and distrust?

2. Gaurav's mum swallowed sleeping pills and lying there hale and hearty emotionally blackmails him never to leave her. Possessive, unreasonable and such irrational behaviour cannot be condoned whatever the provocation may be. Yes, Gaurav loves his mum= agreed👏. Yes, Gaurav loves Rano = suspect! 😡He has to remember that he has left the person he promised to look after all his life on the crossroads, knowing fully well that she is incapable of leading an independant life at this stage of her life. Choices must be made but with thought and responsibility.

If I would try that with my family ... they will look at me and tell me either to grow up and use common sense 😛 ... or to drop dead/ take a hicke 🤢 😆 .....

wake up to the real world. I know mothers and fathers who emotionally blackmail their kids into marriages, careers and other issues. Its all about how manipulative some people are. We are not used to them because we live abroad
