He should if he wants the franchise to work..

Animal could have been a movie with repeat values if only he could cut down on extreme violence and some unpalatable premises. Instead they could fill it up with lighter yet intense stuffs like Ranvijay and Geetanjali's individual as well as combined dynamics with their children as father and mother respectively and as parents.

But Ranbir was PHENOMENAL. There was no shred of Ranbir but was this loathsome and repulsive Ranvijay through and through.. The other actors (irresepective of the size of their role) fitted the jigsaw perfectly with their individual pieces..

As much as I am happy for Tripti, her presence was not necessary, IMO..

There are experiences that I won't do ... just because there is/I feel no need to make them...and especially if I have to pay for them...

Rashmika faltered in the first half, IMO.

But she owned the second half along with Ranbir and how..

That conversation, the way she emoted her turmoil, dilemma and all other emotions through her body language and eyes - it was so poignant that she didn't speak but for thst one dialogue of leaving for USA along with children post the confrontation scene..

I like how you write about the movie, but as I already wrote (more than once?), to me, it's not about the movie as such but about the director. I've watched his very first movie (Arjun Reddy) because of the controversy surrounding Kabir Singh. It was a well made movie with the purpose to show toxic masculinity (well played, well done).

But as you know, Vanga got angry about the reaction Kabir Singh faced and he vowed to make his next movie a more toxic-violent-misogynic one (which he did).

Why on earth should I support such a project? The success Animal got just showed how he could manipulate people...Vanga certainly is elated.

Movie script was well-threaded through and through smiley32

Remember!! ... If Tripti's character didn't make the confession to Ranvijay, then Bobby's role may not have even existed.

It's a commercial, fictional, violent action-movie to simply entertain people, and draw them (men & women) into the cinema theaters. smiley4
