yea she has changed herself a lot. Not in a good way.

I honestly think Sid and Alia would have ended up divorced if they had married. Ultimately, the universe led them to their right partners for better (read Sid), or worse (read Alia). As much as I do not like Sid as an actor, you have to be a special case of mental to let go of him offscreen. He's the definition of shaadi material. Unless shaadi to someone is social capital and last name.

I have a theory that post-SOTY, Alia took the Vidya route and tried to market herself as an empowered actress who does women-centric, content based roles. I dunno what she saw in Ranbir apart from the Kapoor tag but Ranbir's public image as a red flag kinda undermines her own public image.

That's why she doubles-down on Ranbir being a great guy with every breath she takes Ranveer was with DP, Sid and Varun are not as big of stars as Alia let alone Ranbir, but Alia would have naturally been more compatible with someone her own age.
