It is not worth rewatching Ranveer dodged the question about him seeing other people. He also didn't look too happy about the other guys, which did not help Deepika at all. Had Ranveer answered that question I don't think there would have been as much backlash.

Guys, the main reason why DP got trolled or called out is that her lies caught up with her. Unfortunately, for Deepika we have social media now and whatever she has said is all out there.

After her break up with Ranbir she painted this image of hers as a heart broken good girl cheated on by a serial dater. All this after hardly 1 year relationship.

There are so many video interviews of hers(KWK with PC, Zoom interview with Ranbir, Simi Garewal show etc) from 2011- 2014 where she says that she cannot casually date without commitment.

Whereas, in this KWK DP admits that she was in fact casually dating and there was “ no commitment as such” until Ranveer proposed to her.

This is not about man vs woman or misogyny, it’s about your lies catching up with you.

Wrt Deepika, its her life her choice but then if she did not want any controversy, she did have the option of either not answering that question or even carrying on with the charade of not being into casual, let alone, multiple dating simultaneously.

But DP is DP. Only she can break her own previous record of cringe content.. Proven once again..

If ranveer had answered the question there would have been the same backlash, people mainly had a problem with them choosing to casually date at the start of the relationship, people don't understand the concept.

Deepika already admitted to trying to casually date at the start of her relationship with rs years before the kwk episode, she spoke about it on that filmfare interview show with jitesh pillai, no lies were told on kwk

In this day and age not only celebs even the comman man also “casually dates” before settling down. That is not the problem here.

What backfired royally for DP is that she first preaches about not knowing how to casually date without commitment. Then, years later admits to casually dating without commitment until proposal.

Arrey, stick to 1 story. Coz Eventually, lies will catch up with you but truth always remains the same.

Today almost everyone in a wide age demographic is on instagram and all can see the reels with video proof of what DP has said over the years. People aren’t stupid today.

Also wasn’t this the same episode where Ranveer said he’s not even responsible for his own flop films ? Why did karan call that out ?
