Ranbir hasn't broken anything but tell me why you are trying to hide behind Ranbir?

Where are your own floppies? Nobody else you can reliably hide behind anymore? Maybe you should join the newly sprouted fake fans of Sunny Deol.

Putting 100 emojis won't make it look like you're laughing, you know.

The only people who've getting regular slaps are ones like you. One more coming soon. But oh, the topics on IF are in single pages. What will we ever do without IF support?! Gasp.

Yawn. You’re boring me now. Please come up with a more entertaining response if you want me to use my keypad to type.

Oh and My emoji use bothers you?

SRK reins supreme. He is truly the King of the box office and the world's megastar.

Ranbir will only be remembered in history books for being responsible for a new generation of toxic and misogynistic men who idolized Animal and likely start increasing trends of abuse, murder, and rape. I am glad Alia's legacy will be tarnished as well for selling herself out to link to his Kapoor name.

Shabana, ratna, Smita all went to National school of drama did not come just like that

Rani too was bad in first 3 movies than she took acting coaching (she only said in interview that her mom told producers do not waste money on my daughter after seeing initial movies)

Sharmila started with satya jit rai who taught her acting

Tabuu had an actress sister and was bad in initial movies from 1986

rajesh khanna was a good actor and got good roles amra prem, aradhna, hathi m,mere saathim, namak haram where he did better than The Amitabh Bachchan etc he was no suhana khan

how kids were brought up in 60s(rajesh khanna, sharmila) 70s(shabana, smita patil, ratna) and 90s kids (konkana, tabu, rani) was very different ok. Their parents would not molly coodle them or pamper them and expected them to be serious about work

Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopoooooooooooool

"Privilege did not exist for people we like."

Exhibit - 1.

How were they brought up?

I am sure Rajesh Khanna started working 9-5 as a company worker because he played a union leader in Namak Haram and did not at all sabotage Anju Mahendru's career.

I am sure everyone at NSD gets to act in as many movies as an MP's daughter like Smita, and Kaifi Azmi's daughter. I am sure producers were just completely naïve about their backgrounds.

Sharmila belongs to bhadralokest of bhadralok families, people should read how she got discovered by Satyajit Ray as a kid lol

Rani and Kajol literally belong to a family with three nepo lines and two og production houses thrown in. The oldest generation of the Ganguly-Mukherjees were bhadralok barristers before independence. The oldest of Samarths was Rattan Bai. Kajol isn't as great as Tanuja or even Nutan but continued to get cringe roles in the 90s. But sure, she wasn't mollycoddled (and was raised differently despite being famous for being a rude brat lol).

By your admission, these were hardworking talented people despite having very nepotistic roots. So, why the hatred for Alia/Ranbir/Ranveer/Abhishek? By all accounts, they have some talent and are hardworking. Hardwork and talent doesn't cancel out nepotism, does it?

Bollywood has always been a feudalistic, shitty place where nepotism and/or class-caste privilege are prominent. Unless you are acknowledging the latter, the rage against former sounds hollow af.

The most important take away from your posts, Blue (althoug I would replace "shitty" with "dirty"...it says more about business practices in every field of filmbusiness).

Generally, filmbusiness/showbusiness is dirty, hierarchic etc. all over the world...it deals with money and with people (but fortunately also with art and culture).

To me, it always has been about merit and dedication to the work...I don't care neither for nepotism nor for the nepotism debate.

What a person makes out of the possibilities and chances he/she gets, that is my interest.

Vedang may do the networking as much as possible (he got known through social media (YouTube) and now gets chances to broaden his horizon), eventually it will be about his values, choices and work ethics.

SRK: There are some qualities who made him the most searched on google...and he invested them since he entered Barry John's theatre group in view of using whatever he can learn...and this work ethics he kept for now 40 years.

Ranbir: No idea for what he'll be remembered... (he neither had a super-intelligent gentleman father who never got rich in money, nor a hard working loving mother leaving a 25-year-old without a parental support)...he got a messed-up psyche by a messed-up upbringing living now in a messe-up marriage with the own responsability for a girl-child...

But you just used it to type this response... smiley1

and if no one cares and you quote and type a response, it again makes you "no one" ... smiley36
