Kunal and Sonia, I feel their relationship broke because Kunal could'nt go against his Dad ever and stand up for her even though he loved her.. Every time Sonia confronts Vandana, she mentions this.. Maybe this was the main and only reason she betrayed Kunal as she was getting all the attention and luxuries when she was with Kunal too.. Kunal says he loved Sonia dearly, still couldn't get over the break-up and can never love anyone else, but I guess he couldn't give the respect Sonia deserved as his wife and daughter-in-law of the house when they were married.. We all can see how his Dad treats Vedika, his own daughter, and can imagine how he must have treated Sonia whom he never liked.. Kunal loves Vedika too, but never went against his Dad for treating her like this all these years..

Now we have to see how Kunal changes with his love towards Vandana.. whether he'll be able to keep his promise to Vandana's Dad that she will get all the respect she deserves as his wife and daughter-in-law of the family...and, Vandana is strong and demands respect and can stand for herself whereas Sonia needs someone else to support her.. this change in characters between them can make a huge impact too in their relationship and Kunal may get the courage to speak up against his Dad for what is right and wrong...

Good points. Sonia did mention that he never stood up for her when it came to his dad - but then K also mentioned to V in the recent episode that he went against his dad to marry her. But yes I find K's dynamics with his dad (stemming from his childhood trauma) to be of a very subservient type. He keeps trying to live up to his dad's expectations and agreeing to whatever his dad says. I think Vandana will help him through his struggles - she will realize what his dad is long before he does and when she tries to tell him it's not going to go well - but eventually he will realize, perhaps they'll bring his mom into the picture.

Vedika knows her dad better, she has witnessed him abusing their mom so she has her doubts. Let's see how his dad attempts to stop the wedding! I have a feeling he will notice V's dad and then figure out who the Karmarkars are and then decide to take advantage of them - so he will let the wedding go and arm twist K later to take advantage of the karmarkars music prowess! ..

I'm wondering 🤔 what made him agree for the marriage in the first place.. bcos when he heard the news from Pammi, he was very angry and next moment we saw that he accepted Vandana and apologized too for his behaviour..I guess it was just to gather time and plot his plans to stop the wedding as he knew Vandana needs time to get divorce and till that time he can keep Kunal away from her and Tara..

Even I feel he'll go ahead with the wedding now for reasons you mentioned..but will Vandana's Dad agree if he comes to know who Kunal's Dad is??..

Vandu is definitely stronger than Vedika and Sonia. Vandu has already stood up to Mr. Maholtra once before and almost gave him a heart attack. So, if anyone should be careful, it should be him.

And you’re right… Vandu is certainly different from Sonia. Vandu’s love will probably have the power to resurrect the Kunal his family hasn’t seen in a while… the Kunal that was raised by his mother. And we can maybe see a little of this transpiring already so I’m going to be hopeful that whatever comes, Vandu will be able to navigate it.

Yes, I think the change of heart about the wedding is all an act by Mr. Maholtra and Pammi because as Pammi said the wedding will be full of surprises. I think they want everyone to think they are in agreement with the wedding so they will not expect anything bad to happen. They want the family to be caught off guard by the surprises so they cannot prevent them from happening.

I don’t want the father’s identities to be revealed to each other yet. I think writers should keep that backstory between the fathers a mystery for a while longer keeping viewers on the edge of their seats concerning when it will happen and how it will affect K&V. Kunal and Vandu are only in the infatuation stage right now so I don’t think the reveal about their fathers’ relationship will be as dramatic and effective. But if writers were to wait until love blooms with K&V, then I think the revelation of who the fathers are will be more dramatic and have more of an effect on K&V relationship. What do you think?

Today's precap, Kunal's Dad is coming to stop the wedding right..then how will they avoid his meeting Vandana's Dad as he'll be present in all the functions..

My guess is somehow Kunal's Dad won't be able to come..so he won't be able to stop the wedding..maybe Pammi will join hands with Sonia and Mrunal to create drama which eventually will fail..

Then as per today's epi, Hemant and Anaga might try to get house papers back from Kunal..

I don't know why when so many options are open, writers are rushing through Kunal and Vandana's falling in love phase..

Yes, I think the dad's meeting face to face is too early - But K dad might notice V dad and then hatch a plan to take advantage - and so even though he came to stop the wedding ..once he realizes this he might leave with some excuse and be Ok with the wedding - and then Sonia will come in drunk and some such obstacles might show up! ..

K&V need to take their time to fall in love - they seem to be falling for each other faster than expected!

Yes, even I feel the love is being rushed - At least they need to continue this phase of closeness for a while before any sort of confession - just the longing to be with each other etc.. I don't want it to all be said and done and then start having one MU after another - this phase is cute - it's fast but cute ..the seatbelt BTS is giving me goosebumps! That scene is !! ..But hope writers continue this phase even post marriage ..and hope the Sonia holding scene is not for real!!!

I’m thinking the leap is for TRP.

Also, the leap helps to drive the plot forward and get to the good part where we see a greater friendship between K&V and a newly found affection between the two because of their 6 months away from each other. Their relationship development will of course mean that something grand is on the horizon to separate the two leaving viewers engaged and anticipating when K&V will be together.

I recently was wondering if Sonia will come back pregnant from Indro. 😱 We all know that Indro doesn’t want kids so what if he’s left her and she tries to come back to Kunal. 😱 This will of course bring Vandu’s infertility back into conversation.

Leaps usually ruin the charm and freshness of the story

This is a small leap - i am not a fan of generational leaps ..but this one seems to have added freshness!! ..I do see sparks flying between them - Kunal v2 is surely better - just hope he has no plan to follow thru with some evil plans his dad might hatch
