Karishma in the early-mid 90s was not that great looking or a good actress. She had to really groom herself to become a big star by the end of the 90s and a top heroine. Watch her performances in Zubeidaa, Fiza, Dil To Pagal Hai, or Shakti: The Power and ask yourself if Raveena could have done those roles. I don't think Raveena could even have played the negative role that Karishma did in Mere Jeevan Saathi.
What hurt Karishma is that by the time she was a seasoned enough actress to do the above classic films, she was already being forced out of the industry to settle down and let her sister take over.
Anybody could have done those roles. Karishma was always a mediocre actress with very exaggerated, filmy, OTT expressions.
Just saw that clip. It's atrocious. How are they speaking 😣
Khushi stans on social media are in an uproar. They are branding Raveena a wh*re who slept her way to get a career and not even a very successful one.
They are also saying her daughter is so untalented and ugly that selling herself couldn't get her successful auditions in South films.
Khushi stans will not forgive or forget this insult.

She was a product of her time though. The 90s weren't exactly a period of subtlety. Had she remained in movies, I think she could have continued to grow into a much more nuanced performer, with a better selection of films. She was already on her way there but then she got married. She had tremendous untapped potential.
Khushi fans are reminding Raveena about her auqat. That she was a B-grade actress who played second fiddle to superstar Sridevi in Laadla in a colorless, unmemorable role.
That Raveena's daughter, at her career best, would be lucky to play the side heroine to Khushi, but she will probably not even achieve that.

Sure, that’s possible. But for what she put out there she wasn’t better than any of the other well known names of the 90s.

Yes, especially on Instagram. There's a large legion of Khushi fans. I think they have a name for their fandom as well.
