Even I noticed it. She is like the lighter version of Bhavani Kaku of Ghum. I am saying lighter because there is nothing worse than keeping their own daughter mentally unstable for 10 years just for the sake of pride. Still depending on the character development, Daadi saa could turn worse as well.

Dadisa is such a hypocrite though, din bhar tradition, culture, aur values ki baat karti rehti hai. But then she goes and assassinate a girl's character. I also feel bad for Manisha; she always has to deal with Dadisa's anger. Maybe that's why she said those things to Abhira today.
