Vanga is a *******. Actually worse than that.

Even though he is getting success right now, I am sure if Bw overdoes his style of movies, audience will start rejecting it.

But it’s Bollywood who has to copy the current trend so you will see same brand of violent movies in next few years and then the downward spiral.

I absolutely despise Vanga.

Now that we are waking up to his problematic movie making, let’s all bash Anurag Kashyap equally if not more. Kashyap started this gaali galoch, nudity, violence crime infested genre.
Vanga took it not higher and suddenly the Kashyap supporters are uncomfortable.

Let’s not forget item songs. Blame everyone involved.

well kashiyap movie with the Kapoor lad tanked so not heard him do some movie since then.

Like I mentioned in my review of the film, the only correct way to watch this film is to see it as if you are watching Mahabarata, but from Duryodhan's POV. That somehow makes it palatable

This was a great advice given to me by my elder brother.smiley20

My brother wanted me to watch this film because he wanted me to learn what some twisted men are capable of, and what kind of guys I should avoid in real life. smiley36

Sounds weird but that's his way of showing me that he cares for me.smiley36

Exactlysmiley32 This is what I have been trying to say, and you've put it better than I would have.

BW ovedoes one kind of genre till it reaches a saturation point.

It's an endless cycle that BW is stuck in.

I love this...smiley27...and this is what I have been saying.......why would any adult in their right would like to idolize the character of ranbir in Animal??

And if they do.....then their judgement is flawed and people should be just wary of them.

Yes, most definitely.

The notion that all men love and idolize MCPs like Vanga or characters like Ranvijay is ..... far from the truth.

All normal intelligent adults should be able to differentiate what is right and wrong, even if it is being glorified on screen. If they can't, then the problem is with them.

Kids and Teenagers? Well.. that's a different story because technically they shouldn't even be watching the film is for 18+ audience.

Me and my brother both hated KGF series too and couldn't get our head around why it was so popular.smiley36

We basically hate anything that is extreme... whether it is radical machismo, radical feminism etc anything.

I never even tried watching it....hated it from the trailer.......I watched first 10 mins of Pushpa and was done.....I never could finish Kabir Singh....just watched bits and pieces......and now I am in a double mind if I should watch Animal....I love Bira and I want to watch Animal just for him....but then I hear about the violence, blood and gore and I feel like I should maybe watch it when it comes on OTT so I can fast forward it...smiley24

but some have been go to instra reels or lives or even twitter time lines they thinking this is so macho etc n man like when some women saying it’s regressive n not something to idolize they start degrade them with bad words. I too did not see Kabir Singh and this one I won’t not just because the Kapoor lad but in general though it does peak curiosity why some thinking it so manly n others think it’s vile. I think the explosive xxx scenes is drawing the youth then the families who seeing this movie.

I found Animal to be slightly tolerable than KGF, because the director and actors gave clear warning to people about the violence and gore.

I hate KGF, Pushpa types because these films under guise of "mass entertainers", incorporate misogyny, ridiculous violence and other crap in the story-line.

At least, Vanga was open about his film being an A+ and not for children or people who are not comfortable with violence.smiley36
