Why Anupama’s kids are actually horrible

Anupama loves to complain and pull her hair out when she is frustrated with Toshu and Paakhi. On the surface, it looks like she is genuinely frustrated and wishes that her children could be more strong and independent. She tries to explain things to them and tries to give them opportunities to make their lives better.

Lies.
Here is the real reason (according to yours truly) as to why those children are spoiled and Bratty.

Anupama has mentioned thousands of times that being a mom is everything… As a matter of fact, her only identity is that of being a mom… She has given up all of her other dreams to put her identity as a mother first.

if she was to raise children that TRULY turned out to be smart, independent, stable, and financially stable…Then she thinks —as The MOTHER — she would be obsolete.
Her identity as a mother is to raise her children, and teach them. Help them. Be there for them. If her children are independent functioning members of society, then she would have to create another identity. She would not be needed in that same way. Then what would happen to being a “Maa”?

So -in order to keep her identity as “Maa” she sabotages their upbringing, so they become bratty, spoiled, useless and dependent on her so she always has to fix them and help them which makes her relevant.

Selfish!

All of her frustrations toward her children are so fake!!

I think most indian kids are brought up before like anupam akids

parents never let go kids out of sight or home and spoon fed them

they also dictated every aspect of kids like how to dress, what to eat, what to study doctor engineer, maths, science etc

also they never allowed to leave home and live independent be in the city where they live only

its only n last 20 years or so that kids have started leaving house after 10th std to study in other cities or country else till 25 years or till marraige parents controlled every aspect of child upbringing in name of family and elders

that is why many kids born before 2000 or 2005 cannot live independent easily even in 30s or 400s and require wife/spouse to be baby sitting them

why do anupama kind of parents and vanraj kind of parents keep such control over kids unlike USA/europe parents

One reason is indian parents become financially and physically dependent on children after retiring so they do not want to let go off control over kids lest their kids may not take care of them in old age

In anupama both anupama and vanraj and his old parents are dependent on anuj kapadiya for finnace, if not him they would have been dependent on pakhi, samar and toshu actually for money once they retire are 60 plus. So they keep tight leash on their kids so they obey parents till death

In USA/Europe governments take care of aged and retired mostly. Also there even manual laborer salary per year is 30 lakh INR( 35k USD)

See in new york a apple per kg cost 250-300 in bangalore/mumbai malls apple cost 250 even in seeason that is nov/dec so cost of liing is similiar to USA in metros but what is salary of an average indian 3 lakh or 5 lakh maximum. Also an indian child is expected to foot food and medical bills of his aged parents or in laws like anupam ais doing all life or vanraj was doing before he stopped working. So they cannot really save for old age unlike US/Europe parents. Their only option n old age is their parents inherited home and their kids giving them money for monthly expense

Most are not govt employees to get pensions. Hence parents do like anupama nad vanraj. How scared baa and vanraj was that toshu is leaving them because govt will not take care of them. They are still better as anuj and anupama there or else they would die of hunger and disesase. Most aged after retirement will die without proper medicine as no money and also no proper food as many kids do not send money to aged parents. This is how its in india.

I know people who could not afford Bp/sugar insulin or cancer medicine or heart operation and died soon because their kids refused to fund their bills in india. This is in big metroes imagine what happen small town or villages to parents. Anupama and vanraj and baa are scared of this only so kept tight leash on toshu, samar, pakhi. But now anuj is there for life so they are not worried.

Now anuj kapadiya becomes their kid or caretaker to baa, baupuji, vanraj and anupama so they are not worried to let go toshu and kinjal off
